I used to go every week buying anywhere from $60 to $100 and most was new comics. I’ve never been burned out but now I get comics every two or three weeks. The big reason is there was nothing new coming out that got me excited to go every week. I will say recently the GI Joe mini series and Conan got me excited again, DC Absolute line of comics caught my interest but I still will see what’s coming out the next week and see if I’m making the trip to my LCS

I was one of those people who was spending roughly $50 a week on comics from the early 90's to early 2016. Prices went up, took multiple titles to follow stories if from the big 2, and I ended up definitely getting the burnout for the weekly stash. Still into comics but now go mostly with archive and collected editions when I see something I like. Currently picking up the EC & Warren archives as they come out.

TLDR: I have been, but am not currently, burnt out.
I’ve gotten burnt out on comics before. I took about a five year break from new books, that ended about 5 years ago. During that break I’d still go to the comic shop occasionally and pick up a few dollar books occasionally. I’m not sure why or what sparked my return but I’ve really been enjoying collecting/reading since. I’m a long time image and DC fan, and I pick up a lot of indies. I’ve been getting the new issues of Harley, Poison Ivy, Birds of Prey, and all the Spawn books. I’m satisfied enough with all those books but my favorite stuff lately has been Batman Full Moon, the new Oni EC comics, Hellblazer Dead in America, and Sweetie Candy Vigilante. I picked up the Animal Man by Morrison compendium and really enjoyed reading those again, but that’s an easy sale to me. I’m excited for the new Joe Sacco book, You Wont Feel a Thing from Dstlry, Doll Parts from image, and the new Toxic Avenger comic(I have the first issue but I haven’t read it yet). All the Zac Thompson(I think I’ve got that name right) stuff the last few years has been very enjoyable to me, eg Cemetery Kids Don’t Die, Hunt for Skinwalker, and I Breathed a Body. There’s a bunch coming out that I’m interested in, and a lot of old stuff I haven’t read that I’d like to. All that said, I’ve picked up quite a few books in the last few years that I didn’t enjoy. Recent examples that spring to mind are Jenny Sparks, Lilith, and Power Fantasy, I don’t begrudge anyone who does like these books, just not for me
