First Lemon, and now Press. I’ve been seeing other channels sponsored by this game as well. Seems the publisher is really trying to recoup costs from this commercial failure of a game. I’ve played it, and it definitely had a pretty big budget. Not quite triple A, but definitely double.
Yeah I know that not inflicting massive physical trauma upon myself for the sake of content is a little bit of a cop out... but hey... that's the business we call show
@@PressContinue Fine, i'll let it slide this time. Just cause i hear you have an album to record and it would probably be hard to do without your arms.
I'd argue that Ocelotte is real, because when Oceiros slams his hand down in the second phase after his spin, it makes a small AOE that drains your FP. So something's going on with that hand of his, maybe he still had an Ocelittle clinging to it.
I had no idea about the FP AOE but the choice to make Ocelotte invisible apparently came from censorship. Because the baby model still exists within the cut content. It was apparently deemed to disturbing so they made it into a mystery whether it's an invisible child or whether Oceiros truly has lost his mind.
@@PressContinue Not just disturbing but there's a lot of places that don't exactly like violence being shown on children in Media, especially games. Which is also part of the reason why Children in Bethesda Games are normally immortal.
Well, yes, and there’s supposed to be something there it’s made invisible because from software doesn’t want to controversies from a Boss killing a baby in game.
@PressContinue i think the fact you as a player can hear the baby is evidence enough the baby is real and invisible. Also survives the slam since the baby is still making noise.

Ah, I just love ds3 challenge runs ^^ somehow more satisfying than eldenring, as you actually have to work with a very limited arsenal, while in ER there is always something to make it more viable. 10/10 pls more :D
Idk if you already know this, but attack power (in terms of increases/reductions) only refers to the actual attack power of the weapon/spell, not the final damage dealt. All souls titles, including ER, have a fairly funky tiered damage formula that scales based on the relation between attack power and target defense. Attack power decrease can make you drop down a tier or two, which can dumpster your actual damage dealt far more than the AR decrease would suggest. This was far more pronounced in DS1 lategame when even fully upgraded straight swords / daggers started dropping off dramatically compared to greatswords/halberds and above. DS3 formula is more forgiving, hence the straight sword meta, but when dealing with damage this low, you start feeling the effects. Wikidot should have the formulas BTW.

11:00 ok so they don't get 50% "damage" penalty but a 50% "attack rating" penalty so the damage you output before factoring in armour and resistances and due to the way armour works, a 50% reduction in attack rating will result in more than 50% reduction in actual damage

Well the funny thing is that in their normal state the preacher arms are broken in the metaphorical sense. Weapon art does as much damage per hit as a straight sword but you can spam it way faster and for spells it gets an S scaling. So it's a pretty OP weapon
Haven't seen the video yet, but I've been on the internet long enough to know that he's just going to have his mom help him with it. *Also: Do a brainlet mage run next [Sorcery only after Gundyr, remain too stupid for Orbeck to teach you (Scholar's ring okay because you get it so damn late and it's not true int)]*
Huh, somehow there are *still* weapons in Dark Souls that I’ve never seen before. God I feel like I’ll never stop learning new things about these games lmao
Maybe it's a 50% damage reduction before damage calculation (50% less AR)? That would make the attack deal less than half the damage because of the flat part of defense calculation right? I know that's how player defense is calculated, and I know it applies to enemy defense too in Elden Ring (Stars of Ruin dealt less damage then Comet when I got it, but started doing considerably more by the endgame) so I'd assume the same goes for DS3.

is it possible to beat dark souls without fast travel? i think homeward bones could be allowed, since there are some spaces you can't come back from on foot.
I did no death no bonfire in DS1. No bonfire is of course something you get a special ring for in DS2. In DS3 it's more a minimal bonfire run since there are a few mandatory fast travel ones. I actually did a run like that before I had my channel. Bloodborne without fast travel is simply no hunter's dream which I did in the first year of my channel.
