3 years at a American university? Your English is darn good. When I was in university, I knew a lot of Korean foreign students. And frankly, their English wasn't that great. Of course they knew enough to get through their studies. Some of them, I felt kinda awkward talking to them in English. So I talked to them in my limited Korean (I left Korea when I was 7 btw). And even after graduation, I didn't see much improvement. So I think those folks hanged out with other Korean students in one big clique.
So, were there a lot of Koreans in your university? Or were you basically the only Korean there? I guess if you were the only Korean there or you choose to hang out with non-Asians, there would be more pressure to learn English. Anyways, dig your channel and keep->🤘🤘🤘

LordDesAbsterdens actually your assumption is incorrect just because you are conscious doesn’t mean that you are not in danger. There is a time limit from when you get a serious cut until you faint from blood loss and eventually slip in a comma n die! If you are in a car crash and one of your main arteries gets severed and the er workers get there before you passed out they still have time to ask you for your blood type and start pumping to save your life.

I'm from the US and in college, and I had a classmate who was from South Korea in my Spanish class. I felt so bad for her because it's hard enough learning one foreign language. It's even more difficult to learn another foreign language in a different foreign language. Her English was really good, and so is yours. :)

I was told that the Korean superstitions of blood types came from Japan. A Japanese physician wrote a book on blood types and categorized people's behavior based on their blood types. I've also heard that Japan got this idea from Germany while Germany was in their eugenics phase.

The blood type was created and used into the second world war context to find out a pure race (like the Aryan race for nazism research in Germany). 1927 Takeji Furukawa create "the blood character" as a possibly theory of evolution. By the Japanese Empire and the military expansion in 1940 through Asia, the myth of a personality type by our blood was popular.
Nowadays, by neuroscience approach, we know that blood type is not reflecting the personality. The better theory for the moment is the MBTI concept responding to our brain system by cognitive functions (T, N, S, F).
But as science progress, we cannot be sure for 100%. Using MBTI it's just a tool like others to find out who we are to finally love ourself.

I mean I am not a Korean I'm Indian but at school here too we are taught to know our blood types along with Rhesus factor (thats +/-) cuz it can be immediately needed at an hour of medical emergency.... I'm shocked people in US r not so bothered to know their blood type....

I am afraid for my Korean girlfriend who if she moves to United States and talks to Korean Americans about how much she hates guns. I get it she is from South Korea but she never lived through the LA Riots. I definitely surprised her when she found out I am conservative. I really miss her and I avoid politics. Personally I think people should know what their blood type is so that in the time of emergency ( like when they need blood or someone else needs so that they can donate) they don't have to face problems. In my country when I was in class one from that time I know my blood group as we had to fill up a form for our id card & we had to write down our blood groups. I think you should know it as it would help you in an accident again you can also help someone when they need.

I am a medical technologist.... And blood type is being asked for emergency purposes.... For example when someone had an accident, blood type will be of help so that we can transfuse an exact type of blood during emergency.... 😊
