FYI, from a former employee, the natural path is showroom, restaurant (half-way you can stop for a bite to eat), marketplace, self-serve, cashlanes, bistro (a hotdog or veggie dog and a cinnamon bun on you way out). Another fun fact: IKEA stands for Ingvar Kamprad Elmtaryd Agunnaryd (the founder's name, the name of the farm he grew up on and the village). Hey da!

I love IKEA. I live in Europe (the Netherlands) and we pronounce it the right way 😜. Interesting to see that in our stores the route is different. First you see the furniture and then all the things from the first halve off this video. Also nice too see that the collections are the same. So... What's in our stores is also in America. Funny. They always have such nice new items but some items were for sale when my kids were small, 25 years ago. Recently, a kabinet a bought broke down. I went to IKEA customer service desk. They asked from what year it was and actually found the right hardware for it!!! And it was 21 years old. I can spend an entire day there and love the as is section I've bought so many things there. My favourite store! Thanks for taking us along with you!

I'm in the U.S and in the IKEAs I've visited the layout directs shoppers to the escalator (2nd floor) where the furniture is displayed. Each store also had a bypass leading shoppers directly to the marketplace.
Here (in Bulgaria) they don't have all the products shown in the video (for example the green office chairs, or the green plastic boxes), probably because the market is much smaller. But we also love IKEA and many of the people prefer to shop there.
Pretty sure Lowes sent out a search and rescue for y’all!!! I’m so excited that y’all might be doing the garage next (or soon?)!!! Woooohooooooooo!!!

My daughter's favorite stuffed animal is a pig we bought at Ikea years ago--- "Piggo" has been her go to ever since:) Fun to see other kids' well loved Ikea friends too:)
For me, first thing is always stopping in the restaurant for the Swedish meatballs. Then, when fortified, the browsing/shopping begins.
Yep for sure as is the motto you can’t make business on an empty stomach 😊
This Swede is fascinated with every other countrys take on IKEA. I try to spend as little time as possible in the stores though, pick out what place each item is on, go to the warehouseing section, grab everything and just go to the register. 15 minutes is actually fully doable.

I've never been either, but had stuff shipped. It's expensive to ship, but everything is solid wood, so worth it.
You haven't miss anything. You can see all in their website. I find Ikea very tiring.
I live in a city w/ 3 (THREE) IKEAs.🥳 I guess you don't know about the cliché about IKEA at least in Germany: 1. Most people tend to buy napkins and tea candles regardless of if they need them and 2. You have to get a hotdog at the end of the trip. (The veggie option is really good!)

When we go to Ikea tea break is a requirement.
I love to think that when they both appear, Dean has to place the camera himself before shooting the scene, faking the car departure, then has to stop, take his camera back before really leaving. ^^

It's sooo funny seeing how excited Dean is going to IKEA, and not Lowes!!!....thank goodness Dean doesn't mind "big city" driving.....but Andreas' the one with the "big guns"....loved the fun facts on IKEA.....never been....I think the closest one is 2 hours away....
I always love your videos. You make them so interesting with your little clips you insert and your funny anecdotes. There is an IKEA in Round Rock. My husband and I do the same thing. I love to see how they organize small living spaces. It was our 53 rd Anniversary. We went to Rudy's before for the best Bar B Q in Texas.
I haven't been to our Ikea for at least a1.6 years! Thx for the reminder 😻. Here in France, we pronounce it Eeeh.kay.uh too, accent on last syllable.

Their Swedish meatballs used to be so awesome (it has been awhile since I've been there so I assume they're still delish). So glad Andrea is going to get her work bench! Can't wait to see the build!

I love Ikea, and I also hate driving in big citys! I discovered the Ikea in Round Rock. It's a tad close for me, and the drive is simple, no crazy Houston traffic. Yall should try that one on your next Ikea trip.

I haven't been to an Ikea since my daughter moved out of our house and into her own. We picked up a studio bed for my Grand Daughter that was almost 3 years ago already. I think i will be going to Ikea soon need to see whats new and not with my hubby cos he hate walking around Ikea. The stores are hugh.

I love when we can go to IKEA! Ikea is a little less than an hour from us. Not only do they have great deals love their products. We use so much of it. I am newer to your channel and I am having so much fun

Not having been to Ikea since 2019, my husband and I managed to hit up Ikea in Winnipeg, Manitoba, while on holiday and two weeks later I had the pleasure of also going to Ikea in Vancouver, BC. They are over 2300kms away from each other! I almost came home with the elephant, just for me, hugged it for a while, and ended up putting it down because there are no small kids in my life, just my teen grandkids, lol. Loving all of their forest green options in everything this year too. Thanks for the fun, goofy Dean, and Andrea. 😉

Really thought the Swedish Meatballs, Yah Foor Sure, would be high on the EXCITEMENT list. I admit I've shopped in Ikea both in Ireland, where I am from and in the USA, where I live.

Fun fact: Did you know if you go early enough, like almost an hour early, they announce the previous day’s sales amount, top sales departments and the goal for that day. The day I did that (on accident), the goal for the day was $143,000!

Great trip!
I hate shopping, always have. But the worst place to shop for me is IKEA! Hate hate hate it. And this is my daughter-in-law and her mom best place to go. They go once or twice a month. She is so happy to tell me of her finds and I’m so happy I did not go at all and I’m just fine listening to her. The place is a real labyrinth. My daughter went two years ago and wanted me to go with her mostly to have my pick up for transport in case she bought something heavy. Drove her and dumped her there and told her to call me once she was ready to come home. She did 2 1/2 hours later with almost no purchase…You would have to pay me a fortune to put a foot in their ever again…
It's an overwhelming store. Too much stuff, difficult to find what you want and often too many people. And when taking the shortcuts I often get lost 😂

Andrea and Dean, I liked this video but I want to make a suggestion for other video's I have watched of yours. I have been wondering WHY you haven't built or bought a cart with wheels for that HEAVY saw you get Dean to lug out every time you need it. If not a cart, how about the wheel barrow or something that it would make it easier on him. He dropped it once. That was not good. He could have gotten hurt. I am glad he didn't. He could get hurt in his back with the weight of that saw.
I REALLY do enjoy your videos. Andrea you have been given such a GIFT and Dean that was a great idea to start video taping the projects she has been working on around the house. You two make a great team. Dean you make me laugh. I had to get used to you at first but now I realize you love to have fun even when you are shopping or working with your wife.
