The really seem to have did their research and knew what direction to take with it. It has every feel of the other games that came before it; with it being even more zany😁
Up to this point, Dingodile is probably the best boss character in the game. Not only has the difficulty increased, but now you're in a situation where you have to take advantage of the environment while also avoiding its hazards, and you have to be more mindful of how the enemy attacks. This allows the battle to feel not quite as predictable as the previous ones, which were still fun; even the first one against Cortex and N. Gin piloting Mecha Bandicoot was exciting, but becomes less of a challenge when you realize that all the attacks are blatantly obviously telegraphed, and the bombs specifically are preset and will always hit in the same place, although knowing this implies that you either lost that fight (in which case you're stupid--jk!) or played through it more than once. Also, I'm unsure of the point of having the mecha be able to use fewer attacks the more damage it takes; sure, at least it makes sense, but there are a number of enemies in other games that actually tend to get stronger the more you beat on them; plus, there's that plasma ball attack that you already know how to counter, but I may be thinking too hard about that and maybe the way the boss was designed was intention because it has some positive aspects, which it does; it all really depends on how the player feels during the experience. Lakitu1134 because N. Gin fights crash unaware of the danger from the tenth dimension and dingodile thinks Cortex has some treasure (remember Iceberg labs stage? Dingodile hears something about a treasure)
+Ninja Metall later on N.Gin is seen with N. Tropy and Brio in the 10th dimension trying to take the treasure for themselves, I think they told N.Gin about it when they met offscreen
Dang I got all the way to getting to his niece but enver finished because I just couldn't go the distance it was just to tedious or boring for some reason as a kid I never could get all the gems but man this game was the last bit of crash childhood I had left. I still prefer warped with the motocycle driving and everything man...that was great. Nice walkthrough man really brought back memories.
I'm sort of the opposite; I got it close to the time it came out (so I was in 4th grade) and at first, it was really hard for me--if I play this again now, I'll probably be a lot like this guy in his playthrough. But anyway, I don't think I ever really acknowledged the existence of the un-required gems; I just kinda kept playing till the end :3
Who else thinks that tiny should of been a boss?I also think that koala kong and pinstripe should have been bosses because it shows them in the beginning and this was the perfect opportunity to use them as revelant characters.
He would have been, all the old bosses would have been bosses here, as seen in the Mechabandicoot cutscene. Sadly, they rushed the game, so any boss not too important to the story was cut.
@@coolcamera6265 Tiny and Oxide were never planned to be fought. The others were. (possibly. They other ones were each planned to appear at various points later in the game, but maybe not for a fight)

During the Dingodile boss battle, why did you keep on running into the central platform where Dingodile is standing? I get doing it once or twice and not knowing that flames rise up and protect him if you get too close, but you kept on doing it during the entire boss battle. Is it because the camera is hard to control on your emulated version and you were accidentally running into it due to lack of control?

Becca Riley Random thought I had - What if Nina is Cortex's daughter and after he cut off her hands and replaced them with traps she got taken away from him, and they sent her to the Academy of Evil? And then he says that she's his niece to make himself seem less horrible or something? I don't know but that's possibly why
