Hey AliKai.. Just so you know to clarify.. Adam Couser's "tomatoey Dip" sauce.. is marinara sauce for him to dip his fried mozzerella cheese sticks in. The dip or sauce for his Mexican Quesadillas is Salsa.... He ordered an appetizer/Starter which is really meant to be shared with other people at your table, which is why the plate of food was so large. But you can order an Appetizer/starter and eat that as your main entre meal also.
Can I just say how refreshing it is to see a Brit actually dipping his appetizers into the dips provided! Yes, he got all of them wrong, but hey, you ultimately choose the dipping combination you want!
He was eating mozzarella sticks and the dip looked like spinach dip. The runnier red sauce looked like salsa dip and the one he loved was marina sauce, which was thicker. Buffalo wings are hot, which he ordered. The blue cheese was for the Buffalo wings and vegetables. The marinara was for the mozzarella stick and the salsa was for the corn chips.
Very good, Alice! You nailed it for the Olive Garden description. The Rock's tequila brand, Teremana, is what he was referring to with that drink. Basically what he had was an appetizer which surprised me because I thought he'd have at least tried the ribs. On that classic combo platter is...Boneless Wings (blue cheese dip), Spinach & Artichoke Dip (bowl in the center), Chicken Quesadilla, and Mozzarella Sticks (marinara - plain red sauce) and salsa for the quesadillas. What he thought were nachos are just chips to dip in the spinach/artichoke dip. No he was there during Milton. He has a video where he posted going to get some food and walking around before the rain got too bad and then the next day taking a walk around to see what if any damage happened. He was referring to missing out on going to Disney because the park would've been closed not actually having left before Milton arrived.
The "Pretzels" were mozzarella sticks. He dipped them in blue cheese which is for the wings. The marinara sauce is supposed to be for the mozzarella sticks. The salsa is for the tacos. The white dip was artichoke dip. Yummy! Although, I'm not a big fan of Applebee's. I used to be but they have gone downhill in recent years.
The Beesley's did a video reaction at Applebee's during their last trip to America. To put it in context for people who don't know their channel. The Beesley's is a British couple that went to New York one time before their last and most recent trip to America. I guess when they were in New York they didn't experience too much American culture and they ate at fast food places that existed in the UK.
Now Applebees is just a bar with good food. A restaurant chain. Not Italian, American game day foods, it’s where I took my kids to make them think I was taking them somewhere special. You can watch games, sit at the bar or eat at a table.
Orlando is inland 77 miles (124 km) from the Gulf of Mexico and 42 miles (67.5 km) from the Atlantic Ocean. Milton came from the southwest in the Gulf of Mexico across the Florida peninsula and out into the Atlantic Ocean.
Milton hit the West coast of FL (gulf side), Adam and his family were in Orlando, in basically the middle of FL so it wasn't super bad when it hit there. He did stay through it and has a video about it.
Orlando is in central Florida, and Milton hit from the Gulf Coast side (west side) but it affected the entire middle of Florida on both coasts. My parents are on the east coast of Florida and their area had a lot of tornadoes.
Our Olive Garden gives bread sticks with a creamy cheesy white sauce. It's soooo good. Love From Michigan and it's a beautiful evening ❤❤ BTW I'm very happy that they beeped out his swearing because I love your channel and didn't want to click away.
Applebee's is classified as "casual dining" . It's actually ranked #1 in the category. The sauces he had were salsa, marinara and a spinach and artichoke dip. He was also in the hurricane, he didn't leave prior. If you want another British family to watch, here is one that vacations in the U.S. often and does content here in the U.S. as well as comparison videos between the two countries.. www.youtube.com/@FamilyFreedom/videos th-cam.com/video/HwsN3PMytlo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_glxw54FkkWRvA8k
No he didn't leave until it was over. But your right he didn't get it as much as some of the other places. There's a video where he comes out and videos the morning after the hurricane.
Good afternoon y'all. I hope you're well! Applebee's motto is feeling good in the neighborhood. It's A step above fast food. It's a great place to go sit at the bar and watch a game. Also a great place to take a date when you're a teenager or a kid. Good food pretty affordable. Similar to TGI Fridays if you know what that is. 😁🤘😀
Any restaurant has mixed reviews and they are for different reasons. I have never had bad food at Apple Bees and they serve Alcohol along with their food if you want it. Its not just beer as you see. Thier food is mixed, they have steak, burgers, and mexican/american food.
Poor Adam, he's so confused. That is guacamole ( avacado/ garlic/ cilantro) the pretzels are mozzarella stix and marinara is the red dip he likes so much. He doesn't know which dips are intended for what food. Salsa and guacamole are for the tortilla chips Blue cheese for the celery and wings, no tacos...that's a cheese quesedilla ( guacamole goes with that. But its all ok because he liked everything. What he ordered was an appetizer combo. Applebee's has all sorts......Mexican, Italian, Burgers and fries, steaks, ribs and such. It was very popular in the 90's and early 2000's, but as with everything, Americans care always looking for the next new place or thing. The food I'd good and not expensive and you get plenty. Their drinks are generous and not overpriced. I enjoy Applebee's myself. Could be the day or time of day that he went there that it wasn't busy. Applebee's does not serve breakfast. Biscuits aren't generally served in chain restaurants unless its a breakfast place or a Cracker Barrel. If you want to see really good food reaction videos check out "Jolly" ( with Brits., Josh and Olly. Adam has great reactions about so many things.
I had a run in with an Applebee's waiter when I went in for lunch. I ordered a chicken wrap and it came out. Took two bites and realized there was no chicken in it. I opened it up (it was a diced chicken wrap) and found one little bitty piece of chicken. When I pointed it out to the waiter he said to me "Are you sure you didn't pick it out and eat it?". At which point I told him we needed a manager. Haven't been back. I will go for lunch, I'm just too ticked off to go now. 😂
Applebee's is definitely not Italian food, it's either straight up American food or an American version of Italian, Mexican, etc. It's a decent chain restaurant with average food. He did not understand which dip went with which food. I can't believe there was a que for the Waffle House!!!
Actually Orlando is in the middle of the state, and Milton hit the west coast and came east. Orlando always gets hit hard. They usually get alot of flooding. Not sure why they get hit so hard when in the middle of the state but they do.
Appleby's is mainly American fare. I don't think they plan anything in the UK right now. But TGI Friday's is all over the UK. They aren't the exact same but many things are close. Unfortunately any of our chains might alter the taste. I have had foreign TGI Friday's & it tasted just like home. Neither have biscuits. But Popeye's does & they are all over too. Just no cream gravy.
So I'm assuming the UK doesn't have Quesadilla's... if not Yall need to find a recipe and try them (Tortillas, cheese, meat( options chicken, steak, ground beef, shrimp, ) salsa or pico de gallo. Applebee's is just American they serve alot if different foods ribs, chicken tenders, burgers, Tex Mex, salads etc I call it a SuperBowl food restaurant 😂
@@lavenderoh northern Florida has southern culture. southern Florida, no, lol. Cracker Barrel or Hardee's come to mind for good biscuits. You are right though, the best biscuits and sweet tea are in the south.

The tacos aren’t tacos but quesadillas and the middle dip is Applebees famous artichoke spinach dip, which is gnarly used for the tortilla chips.
The west coast is the side that got hit. That is where I am located. Orlando is in Central Florida.
He was eating mozzarella sticks and the dip looked like spinach dip. The runnier red sauce looked like salsa dip and the one he loved was marina sauce, which was thicker. Applebee's is a national chain that serves ribs, steaks, seafood, burgers/fries, chicken, pasta so it's a good variety.

Applebees is a mid family restaurant. It's a place you go if there are no other options.
Biscuits are an American thing. Everything in the south is found country wide. Applebee's is American and Tex Mex.
They aren’t pretzels, they’re fried mozzarella cheese sticks.
TBH, Applebee's is mediocre food. Ate there twice, (both times was not my choice) and was disappointed in the poor quality. Microwaved crap.
the dip is archchoke spinach dip them not tacos he got so much wrong
