It's regarded as an achievement. Pit of heresy is a good example of this, at launch it had enough leeway in the encounters that a competent player can solo them, but challenging enough for a full fireteam. Pretty swell game design

Thanks for the inspo for this. I just finally completed this too. I ended up having to admit I wasn't good enough to use this build for Vorgeth and moved to Well and 1K Voices. 55 yo gamer on controller. Pretty happy with myself :-)

@Eggan Already tried well of radiance but never worked for me even with ball dupping, imo for Warlocks devour os the best way to go, keep running and clearing the room, spawn kill the knights above and take your all the time you need to get the balls As for exotic armor I think anything you prefer can work, and for loadout anything that you can the other things I mentioned above
I'm going for my first solo flawless and this video was very helpful! Sometimes I forget how good attunement of hunger is, and I needed to figure out a build for Vorgeth (though I'll probably use null, 1k, and well and swap to something like yours if it doesn't work). I'll also probably use well and prospector for the boss, but this video has helped give me alternative options. Love how even though you don't have banners, there's a thrallway before both hard encounters and you can just grab ammo bricks from there. Huckleberry and devour in thrallway is stupid. Thanks for the tips!
@Esoterickk can you make a video on how to build a warlock, hunter and titan for all subclasses, and explain why you need certain mobility, recovery etc or if you have an email I could use to ask these questions cause I'm fairly confused about how to spec out my classes for pve. Not a new player but a returning player for season 15
There's no real one build fits all, it just heavily depends on the activity you're doing. As a rule of thumb though, I focused recovery and discipline heavily. Recovery is great so you don't have to stay out of combat too long, and discipline for the grenades, as I've always leaned towards grenade-focused builds. Hunter can focus mobility to get dodges more often, but outside of that the only other time I'll go for mobility is if there's a certain jump height I need to make (ie, the cheese spot in Lake of Shadows, or in here I couldn't remember if I needed certain mobility to make the jump after the second thrall). Weapons and seasonal mod setups will always change based on what you're going to deal with in the activity you're doing.
yea, vorgeth is really hard, everything before and after that is very manageable. but you can always do it with devour/sword. that is by far the most braindead and quickest method to deal with this encounter.
Great run as usual. I noticed that you added lucent blade but you didn’t add any mechanism to get charged with light. Was that intentional or an oversight? Did you just want the secondary bonus? Thanks
Yeah just noticed this as well. He isn't using another arc mod for the secondary bonus so I'd imagine it was just an oversight. For my run I swapped out powerful friends for elemental charge
I found out this week that starting the dungeon alone then being joined by friends still awarded me the solo-nely triumph even though I didn't complete a single encounter alone.
A bit of warning for those attempting in the current season… passive guard no longer exists when you are using your sword on the knights be careful you must kill at least one in between hits if you plan on letting them hit you more than once this is a risky maneuver but can still be done just be careful and run melee damage resists or u will die in 2 hits
uhm, it is devour warlock. also passive guard+overload sword makes this really easy to do by yourself. might as well take advantage of that this season.

So the next video will be another shattered throne with either the Titan or Hunter? Or will you go to the Pit next on your Warlock? I'm a bit confused as to how you meant that.
Doing it so both the dungeon and class changes each run, I could've explained it a little better sorry. So Warlock Shattered Throne > Titan Pit of Heresy > Hunter Prophecy > Warlock Harbinger > Titan Presage > Hunter Shattered Throne, and continuing until all 3 classes have done them all.
Love the build worked great I finally went in alone it was a heart break I was flawless all the as I was going up the final lift to the boss it didn't take me all the way up and I fell to my death 😭

I would place the lucent blade mod where powerful friends is (since that armor already has arc resistance you don't need powerful friends to activate the second perk of lucent blade), besides the mobility bonus I didn't see the charged with light perk proc so lucent blade was never used I think, and place elemental charge mod in the boots so you get 2x charged with light with each elemental well and a huge damage bonus for lucent blade and elemental might stacking (is my understanding this 2 can stack)
You missed this part *@**17:14* he wouldnt be able to make that shortcut if he is lacking in mobility (mobility affects how high you jump) so maybe its his reason idk about the lucent blade though
He isn’t using the mods for their charged with light abilities. He’s using them for their secondary perks. He doesn’t have a mod on that charges him with light for a reason.
How does the Chest Armor Piece have double stat boost? I'm still somewhat new to the game and don't have much knowledge about the mods or anything armor related

So, I decided to go in and try this after watching this video. I never truly ever attempted to do a solo run all the way through, especially a solo Flawless run, but I always wanted to do it cause I've always wanted the emblem. (My favorite emblem in the game). I made a few personal adjustments to the build, such as running Nezerec's Sin over Transversives (I figured Eso was using them mainly to get around quicker) an Adept Eye of Sol with Vorpal and Adept Big Ones over Succession, and a few other mod changes. But the core of the build remained the same. I got it done, solo Flawless, in the first attempt! This build is great! I've been using Controverse Holds and Slova for so long, I forgot just how OP Devourlock is. I haven't run Devour since solo Flawless Prophecy back when it first came out! Unfortunately...my actual first attempt was about 5 mins long. I was halfway through the first encounter when I got disconnected / error coded from the game. I reset my router and cranked it back up and slammed it out no problem. But I couldn't figure out why I didn't get the triumphs for Flawless and solo Flawless Shittered Throne runs. I forgot to reset the CP after being DC'd. 🤦♂️
Can you give me some advice about build I just can’t do solo flawless these missions it just looks like that everything is killing me, champion’s teleporting while stunned and other crazy stuff. Thanks Edit: champions on nightfalls and lost sectors

@@han_zsolo if you are under light leveled its really hard to suggest builds since we wouldnt know what mods and guns you might have, also the exotics. If thats not the case (you are in the appropriate light lvl) then you can just follow the meta this season like using particle deconstruction and fusion/linear fusion rifles with champion mods to stun them.

Solo Descent in Deep Stone Crypt was the hardest D2 challenge to date imo. Otherwise the original Solo Prestige Savathun's Song was up there, Solo GM Corrupted the first time, and Solo Atheon too. The problem with both Solo GM Corrupted and Solo Atheon is most of their difficulty came from learning the proper approach, but after that their difficulty drops drastically. I'd say Solo Atheon was the most impressive challenge for a first clear and the effort involved, but Solo Descent being the most difficult overall.
For people that don’t want to do the whole dungeon, just get a boss checkpoint and do it solo flawless from there. Also, you don’t actually need to do boss fight flawlessly, as long as you complete it by yourself (with a few deaths here and there) you can still get the emblem.
3 months ago I did this shit solo for the emblem and the solonely Triumph - took me like 12 hours of gameplay 😂 But I suceeded 😁😎 I played my main - Titan 💪😁 Man you crazy good. This must be thousands hours of practising.

dungeon content is actually designed to be done solo. any playercount above solo makes every encounter in any dungeon completely trivial.

Wait...does Overload "debuff" non-champion enemies also? I've always wondered that. 🤔
Not in any real way overload just stops regen so most things in the game could care less about overload

You still debuff regular enemies. Go shoot an enemy with an overload bow and you will see a darkness thing around that enemy
