"Skeleton Warriors Explored" looks like a great show! Jennifer and the other women are good-looking!😍 I want to see it with my sibling! It sucks that it only aired 13 episodes. This show deserves a second chance!
90's had some good cartoons . Good guy teams vs. the bad guy team. All characters had their own unique look and speciality. Also most every show had their own toy collection and videogame.
I used to watch this show with WildCATs. It was on a horrible Afternoon time in Newfoundland. I remember a few points from the later episodes. Skeleton Warriors have magic crystals attached to their spines (opposite the sternum) that act as power sources. If the crystal is destroyed or removed, the person reverts to human. This was discovered when Talyn was struggling with a coward-turned-skeleton and she ended up pulling out the stone. It's possible Grimskull could be reverted to humanity with a little surgery. Baron Dark attempted to create a ray gun cannon to transform massive groups, but it was destroyed. In the process a werewolf-like bounty hunter Claw became the newest named/inner circle Skeleton Warrior. Baron Dark was responsible for the King's Death. He lured the King into a Trap with the help of Aracula. Big Spoiler for the last couple of episodes. Baron Dark eventually does get the Lightstar Crystal. The images in the video with Dark wearing vaguely Egyptian looking armor is his Powered Up form. The Legion of Light actually fails there mission to recover to the crystal as the only way to stop the Baron is dropping said crystal into lava (ala one ring).
I loved this cartoon as a kid but no one ever seemed to remember it. Thank you for covering SW and introducing a whole new generation to such an underrated I.P.! 🤘💀🤘
I watched almost the whole series when I was younger! Grimskull was my favourite character in the show. Watching him grow and develop as a character was great to see. I will admit Arachula was one of my favourite villains. The others being Shriek, Cyborn, Ursak, Jennifer/Talyn and a beast-like Skeleton Warrior. I'm really hoping somebody brings back this show and gives it another chance.
Oh shit. I totally forgot about this. I think I had a toy figure of the leader of the skeleton bad guys, with his flying bike too. Thanks for making remember this. The nostalgia feels came flooding haha.
"Light, darkness... The two sides locked in an eternal struggle for the hearts and minds of the living. Each side claims its share. But what of those caught in between? Which way will they turn?"
If Skeleton Warriors gets a second chance the warriors in fact need to be skeletons. I got SO HYPED UP by the theme song only to learn that the warriors were not in fact, skeletons. I mean who does that?
Can you do a video on the 90's cartoon, Mutant League? It was a cartoon where during a football game, an earthquake reveals buried toxic waste, and the fumes cause all of the attendees and players to mutate.
I Loved Watching " SKELETON WARRIORS " I Watched All The Entire 13 Series I Never Missed One Series! I Loved Watching The Reruns On Saturday Mornings! Which I Still Love SKELETON WARRIORS Too This Day I Only Wish That They Would Show The Entire Series Again! Thank You For Sharing This Video Andy Sandel Walsall West Midlands England UK 💀👍
I didn't know there was an animated series until now. I only know that there were action figures, which I once saw in a department store, which no longer exists. But probably the series didn't run here because it was too morbid/violent.
This is exactly why you should NEVER use an artifact or single item as source of power for an entire city/world. Everything goes to shit when that power is gone.
I had I think 5 or 6 Skeleton Warriors action figures. But I never saw the show. Honestly, I never even knew there was a show till I was an adult. I just remember seeing the toy adverts.
Never saw this show as I didn't even know it existed till many years later. But Boy do I remember the videogame on the Playstation with the big box lol. One of the first PS1 games I ever got when I was a kid. It was a decent game from what I remember but it also had the soundtrack done by Tommy Tallarico which one of the tracks, Skybike #1 if I recall, was the theme song for the Electric Playground tv show back in the day. Man I miss that show.
I couldn't remember the name of this show until I saw you pop it up. I used to have all the action figures when I was a kid I thought they were the coolest ever.
I had toy action figures from this show!!! I was in elementary school and my dad brought a pack of them home for me. I never knew they were from a TV show!
Two symptoms of PTSD: temper tantrum and moral guilt. These two create feelings of hate and anger. Assuming he wasn't skeletonized he would have lashed out in violence against his fellow rebels with all that pented-up negative emotions blowing over. It's really scary when you think about it, because if something like PTSD could generate enough evil/negative emotions *unintentionally* on the victim, Baron Dark could wear down his enemies. Good thing he doesn't know about it.
Oh man if this is the same show im imagining it is, I still have the female skeleton figure with the black doll hair. Man I only got to 1 of the episodes and my grandma flipped the f out over it lol.
Good video, thanks. I have this Skeleton Warriors series on DVD and it's entertaining. The skeleton characters are unique and a highlight of the series. The violence is no worse than GI Joe IMO.
Damn this made me remember a toy i had as kid, its one of the big ones skeleton warrior, Baron, i finely detailed toy. never saw the cartoons, i couldnt where i lived.
A shame this show only lasted for 13 episodes, it was way more interesting and character driven then I thought. I'm guessing it was because it was perceived as riding the coattails of all the other cartoons trying to cash-in on TMNT like Battle Toads and Biker Mice from Mars and the re-edited and adapted Samurai Pizza Cats.
5:16 Must have been inspired by some Japanese style as she got that gravity defying hair style... And Aracula ain't actually six legged rather he has six arms... Or at the very least six limbs though mostly using two of them for general locomotion...
I remember seeing toys of this in the store when I was a kid. The style of animation is similar to the 90s X-Men, GI Joe, and Exo-Squad. In other words, it's the oldschool American style of animation, which is pretty much dead now. Now they either copy anime, or just do something that looks little kiddish. I wish this style could come back, but I don't think it will.
I think it's ironic that the titular characters of the show are actually villains instead of heroes, which is probably one of the reasons why I didn't get into it when I was a kid.
"Skeleton Warriors Explored" looks like a great show! Jennifer and the other women are good-looking!😍 I want to see it with my sibling! It sucks that it only aired 13 episodes. This show deserves a second chance!
The entire thing played out like the cover of every Iron Maiden album ever released.
I was just watching this a few days ago, Show had a great art style like swat kats or exosquad. I miss when American cartoons looked this cool.
90's had some good cartoons . Good guy teams vs. the bad guy team. All characters had their own unique look and speciality. Also most every show had their own toy collection and videogame.
Pirates of the dark water and Gargoyles
Remember tuning in every sat morning for this cartoon
Liar! 😂😂😂

Yeah, and Baron got tossed right in after it. And it had to be a permadeath since he would be restored human inside lava.

I remember, greetings from peru, awesome and weird show xD
Right, show was really cool. Willing to bet a bunch of fucking Karen's had it taken off the air.

The Skeleton warriors toys were my favorite
Oh man, I loved this cartoon. those initial transformations on the first episode was.scary to !e back thrn.

Bring back Skeleton Warriors!!!!
Can you do a video on the 90's cartoon, Mutant League? It was a cartoon where during a football game, an earthquake reveals buried toxic waste, and the fumes cause all of the attendees and players to mutate.
I sure hope Paramount Pictures and Flynn Picture Company would do a live-action movie adaptation of Skeleton Warriors.
Shout out also to to the legendary Tony Jay, who voiced the Oracle Skull at the start of every episode.

The toys are amazing too. I still have the ones I had
when i was a kid we had one episode of this show on vhs.. i thought it was some kind a of dream or boot leg before i learned it was a real thing
When i read Skeleton Warriors, I automatically thought....Ya wee beauty, animated Age of Sigmar....what a kick in the head...👢😜
I still have a few of these action figures lol
Cool!
I definitely remember having some toys from this when I was little…
Skeleton Warriors, Sectaurs, and Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light, bring them all back and do them justice!
Gargoyles also! Mummies too!

I've been waiting for this. Thanks a lot. I'm also waiting for a Hyperion video. Someday, of course.
This almost looks like The Xmen the way its animated and one guy even reminded me of Wolverine

"The battle is joined for those whose hearts are filled is light there can be no compromise in the battle against the forces of darkness but for others virtue and duty become negotiable items. So quistion arises - who can you trust?"
In at world at war is neutrality and genuine option. Must all parties take sides or may or few remain apart indifferent to the battle raging all around them and what if the conflict arrives at your own frontdoor ? ©
Dude!!! I LOVED this cartoon as a kid.
This was real?? I always remembered this show as a fever dream, and was unable to ask anyone if they knew it. Memory is so funny sometimes. 😂
I had I think 5 or 6 Skeleton Warriors action figures. But I never saw the show. Honestly, I never even knew there was a show till I was an adult. I just remember seeing the toy adverts.

Honestly, this show looks metal af, and I'm sorry to say I missed it during my childhood.
Check it out, I don't remember much about it but know it was awesome.
You too ? First time ever hearing of this cartoon existence, comes off as a parallel universe mandela effect thing
I remember this one when I was in gs.
There was so many bangers in the 90s.
Today's cartoons creators: we must protect the children! 80's and 90's cartoons: let the strongest survive!
Todays cartoon creators: we must indoctrinate them.
Now I remember this. I used to watch it Saturday mornings on CBS.
Would love to see a video on Pirates of Dark Water, a great forgotten gem of the 90's.
Another great one.
Still have my VHS tape
Remember how the soldier with PTSD did get turned into a skeleton? Did that indicate he was actually evil?

Wow I forgot about this show I loved it to bad it didn't have episodes. Thanks for putting this on, now going to look for it so I can watch it
Damn this made me remember a toy i had as kid, its one of the big ones skeleton warrior, Baron, i finely detailed toy. never saw the cartoons, i couldnt where i lived.
I had a toy from this show❤
I don't recall it being ultra violent, creepy but not ultra violent, i still enjoyed it.
This series to me feels more like masters of the universe for the 1990's.
A shame this show only lasted for 13 episodes, it was way more interesting and character driven then I thought. Wtf...? Why have i never heard of this cartoon ?
Loved this show as a kid. Its a shame it was so short lived.
I still have some of the figures and the video game for Playstation!!
There's a video game of it? Cool!
@@mojo3318 Yep, there sure is. It's wasn't too bad imo.
Never have I clicked so fast after reading a video title.
Hard sell to find these memories
No it was not ultra violent. No one human DIED. Skeletons are just like Robots not living things... Moral Majority Approved.
Do you NOT know what the definition of "violent" is? I'm asking because your comment shows that you don't.
I still have the Action Figures but no one I knew even knew them.
One of the few times Jeff Bennett was an action hero.
Played the Ps1 game before i watched the cartoon. Really awesome
Was I the only one who thought this was an Army of Darkness cartoon when I was a kid? lol
5:16 Must have been inspired by some Japanese style as she got that gravity defying hair style...

Great series!
Do you guys have any content on "The stone protectors" or "The pirates of dark water".
I remember the ultra fleer trading cards.
Why do the Good Guys also have 'Undead' themed outfits (skulls, rib cages, etc.)? ^_^
The toys were 🔥
I only saw 11 episodes. Always wondered why it ended quickly 🤔
I saw it once. Thought it was just too.creepy. JMO. Have a great day everyone
The art looks very similar to 1997 X-Men.
Y'all see Skeleton Warriors while I see Mutant League.
I remember commercials for the toys
I remember having the cyborg figure.
I got him.
Where's Skeletor?
I had the whole toy set.
think the other version that was special in that show was the golden skull before the episodes starts
You should look into the dinosaur version of beast wars called dinozaurs the Dino knights that protect earth from dragon aliens
I loved this show!!
One of my faves as a kid, the toys were some of the best!! Great memories ❤❤☠️💀
I honestly forgot about this show but there was a time I was trying to remember what the hell the name was and I kept staking it for EXOsquad
"Whose inhabitants have different colored hair since birth"......
*Things to know
SKELETON WARRIORS DADADADADDADA
🔥🔥🔥
Yeahhh this is lit
This was the same animation that X men had.
This cartoon needs a remake without social justice agenders shoved in . And forced down our eyes and ears .
I STILL HAVE THE TOYS
Wolverine's father 😆
Do you just not like "th" ? Fader/ Broder/ eachoder ?
Gee, I wonder why a guy named Baron Dark shouldn’t be trusted.
The more I watch these throwback reviews I realized there was damn near no black characters
5:08 living dead.
Is this narrator one of those text-to-speech programs? Sounds so choppy.
I wonder what the barons sex life is like? hopefully better than mine!
4:35 DANG his sister has THICK thighs!
