  • To encourage Christians to become true ambassadors of Christ through faith, Grace City Rome Associate Pastor Torin takes us on a biblical journey through Exodus 1. Listen as he guides us through successful stewardship strategies of embracing oppression, trusting and fearing God, and locking arms with believers. Our joy on this path, often fraught with persecution, is always found in Jesus Christ, Lord and King.

John Lovell speaks of his wife in a manner pleasing to the LORD GOD Almighty. I am thankful. One man, the husband, provider and protector, and one woman, the keeper of the home, teacher of the children in the home. Bearing fruit. Carry on. Amen.

What why… I know it doesn’t matter about what they wear but it’s just having respect. You take it off to pray why would you not take it off in the pulpit….

Are you saying Christ cares about wearing hats? If he does please quote the verse.

Christ looks at your heart. But for me I'm a hat guy, wear a hat at work and all over but not in a worship service. Physically removing my hat allows me to know I'm doing something different, I'm setting this apart and want to show respect. I'm not just sitting in a movie theater or ball game, I've gone to be close to His thrown with others, the Lord is special, most of us wouldn't think twice to wear a hat in a judges courtroom because he's not our buddy, Christ is not my buddy He is my king and the small thing of removing my hat just helps me get in the right place. Little physical things hat off, closing eyes and bowing in prayer are not a requirement but physical things effect your mental things

@@TonyMiller-bb1jr That chapter also says women with short hair ought to hair their hair covered in the church. So are you going to tell the old widowed ladies that they need to cover their hair? Could you please read Gal 3:9-14
“So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit”
These verses mean YOUR WORKS MEAN NOTHING. Lay down your laws of works and lift up to the Lord.
Matthew 23:23 Jesus said “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices-mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law-justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.”
Mark 16:16 Jesus said “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”
Don’t be a blind guide don’t be a Pharisee. Anyone who proclaims the name Jesus and is baptized in the name of Jesus and accepts Jesus and grows closer to Jesus will indeed be answered to in front of Jesus.

@@Fullsendfilosophy Please provide scriptures relevant to the attire of CHRIST as that should be your example. Heads up while you are proving the scriptures. No. The man is not to have a head covering in the place of worship during the worship. However, is this man taping a sermon that is not taking place in the established place of worship in the time worship service takes place. I have made commentary liken and found out later that it was a taping.
