    How many do we need to offset all the burning coal?

    • @TileBitan
      @TileBitan 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      you dont offset anything if you just harvest the trees

    • @sarcasmo57
      @sarcasmo57 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TileBitan So long as you don't burn them or let them rot you sequester the carbon. Also, these trees can be coppiced meaning that when you cut them down they grow right back.

    • @TileBitan
      @TileBitan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sarcasmo57 yeah. The easy way is to just let the trees grow on their own or harvest the wood to store it deep underground.
      The problem with these is that many companies try to sell this as if it was carbon neutral, but this forest would be more beneficial by just being there without being cut. Then the wood is sold for energy production, which with wood is even more inneficient than coal. You basically take the co2 out of the forest and into the cities, its a disaster because it lets countries trade co2 emissions between themselves

    Is this kind of tree resistant to strong winds ? How many years can live ?
    Can anyone answer ? Thanks alot !

      This trees life span is around 70-80 years, every 4-5 years you can cut and will grow again on same route, that is mean you can have 10 or more times product, leaves are very healthy for animals, which is I have planted 300 and our sheep loves their leaves. There is so much info about this tree on internet, when I found more info i was more determent to plant this trees. And yes resistant to strong wind and good cower for other plants that this threes leaves so big that protect from sun, also routes goes underground around 20-30 meters that hold the soil and also doesn’t need so much water after 2 years.

    • @arturasbriska8549
      @arturasbriska8549 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's that means if routes 20-30 metres no other plants will grow?

    Hi I am from Kathmandu, Nepal. I am also interested to plant Paulownia in Nepal. I have shared this information to most of my friends. I am a Sales a Professional and travel all over Nepal. I have good contact with businessman and public all over. Most of them had nice quantity of land at their disposal for this plantation business. Let me know how to start with. Is there any source for finance as well? I have already found the seedling or plants in Nepal being nurtured through tissue culture.

    1 миллион рублей за Дальневосточный гектар, получаемый гражданином РФ бесплатно!
    Напомним, что каждому гражданину РФ положен бесплатный дальневосточный гектар, независимо от того, поедет он на ПМЖ на Дальний Восток или нет. Мы предлагаем использовать это право для экологичного освоения Дальнего Востока через коллективную заявку ПО "Экополис". Цель - создать на основе гектаров ЭкоПарк "Приморье" - агролесоводческое хозяйство по выращиванию Дерева Мира - павловнии. Участники проекта получают долю прибыли от проекта, не теряя права собственности на гектар.
    Совет ПО «Экополис» принял дополнения к программе развития ЭкоПарка «Приморье», которая представлена в виде акции. Теперь участвовать в проекте могут не только пайщики, но и «гектарщики», т.е. любой гражданин РФ. Никаких затрат, никаких рисков. Зато есть возможность сдать гектар в аренду и получить 1 000 000 рублей.

    why you must never plant paulownia by seeds :
    ° price : of course, seeds are cheaper than roots or stumps, but after the first year of grow, you can only hope 2 meters hight ... with roots or stumps, you can easily get 5 meters hight ! finaly, the price for one seedling is not cheaper with seeds !
    ° genetic : roots or stump are champion trees multiplicate by cutings ( clone ) ... the plantation is uniform and productive.
    seeds are generaly sons of champion trees ( hybride F2 with tomentosa x fortunei cross ) with a lot of consanguinity . did you have seen any champion's sons who are best or equal as your parents ? ?
    no ! the son of Pelé didnot win a world football cup , the son of hussein bolt will not run also fast than his father , the son of bruce lee was'nt so strong champion than his father, etc, etc ...
    even with hybrid F1 seeds ( this kind of seeds are forbidden to go out from china since 2011 ) , it is almost impossible that the plantation be also productive than plantation by clone : with one thousand seedling, you certainly will got only one or two very strong trees ... and will have 998 other inférior trees .
    then your plantation will be 20 or 30% inferior in yield than a beautifull plantation by clones, while the cost will be the same ...
    you thought to save money and finaly you will lost money ! ! !
