    Never forget 7 or 8 years old heading to Penticton for a family holiday and mom got a flat tire just as we were starting the switch backs quite the experience

    • @JuanRempel
      @JuanRempel  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hopefully it wasn't a steer tire

      Holy smokes stacks, 3 years in, and you're the first to notice, yes, they are definitely pointing in different directions. They have been from day one.

    We sure have gotten a lot of re-paving done this year. I bypassed the huge Waterman’s Hill traffic lineup this week by going south via Willowbrook. Plus it’s a super nice twisty road. 🤙

    • @JuanRempel
      @JuanRempel  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea, a lot of paving between penticton and oliver

  • @Linda2

    I followed a guy yesterday that insisted on driving below the speed limit by 10ks. Then we got to a 70k area, and we did 60ks. Lol

    Good day sir , nice to see a face to some of the long haulers driving through my area which is somewhere between Oliver and Ok falls . I'll keep them roads clear for ya.

    I would believe people would wreak fruit trees by ripping off the leaves, etc, to get that particular 🍎 or 🍒

    • @blueman5924
      @blueman5924 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes. Picking is an acquired skill if you want to be quick and make a decent $$ per hour. The fruit bearing branchlets are susceptible to breakage, so one must hold the apple and lift up and backwards simultaneously. Harder with cherries as you must grasp the cherry stem, not the fruit, as cherries picked without stems go bad fast and are often “culled”(lowest grade of fruit). A bad fruit picker can do much damage to a tree, as breaking the branchlet removes fruit wood for the next year. cheers. 🍒🍎

      @Linda2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@blueman5924Thanks for explaining. I could imagine people ripping at the cherry fruits and making them usless for sale quality fruit.

    On my dad's 50' salmon troller heading south to Everett Wa., he used to stop in at Alert Bay and fuel up the tanks because he got a little better price with the Imperial gallon than the states. Across the water I also got to see Port Hardy. From about Prince Rupert south the climate changes to start including a little smoky-looking stuff in the air a bit. North of Prince Rupert is immaculate - this is from the waters I speak though. All for now. Remember, the comments are backwards in time order. This most recent being first. TH-cam thinks they have time to themself I guess. God Laughs

    Not because of your driving skills, but because of your criticism of anything driving you dont like or who aren't like yourself. But you are very good driver.( About my driving instructor comment ) You are who you are though, right? Amen! Coca-Hallelujah Highway again soon?

    I thank
    God you are not a driving instructor! haha - "Fret not thyself" KJVersion - thanks for the videos you and Jess - (dave in bellingham area) You coming down here ever a-gaine? Eh? When you had to turn around in Fairhaven and navigate the narrow streets there, I was impressed with your negotiations of tight spots and backing up skill. I like fair judgment - selah! (pause and reflect=selah) I always wondered about why Selah Washington got named that. White Rock, B.C., Selah, Wa., Davenport Wa., and all these little ol' things eh! hehe - ! Take care and have a nice vacation - You guys got a bear dog? I do watch another Canadian...Amanda Off Grid who caretakes an island somewhere north of Vancouver. All for now >end

      I have watched ice truckers lots of times....I'm in "love" with Lisa....but I must say except for lisa and alex the christian with the cowboy hat on Ice Truckers....You juan are the best Driver I ever Saw. But they had poor Lisa in India in horrible conditions of chance. Anyhow, truthfully, the Ice Truckers argued too much. Hollywoood!

      But....I laughed with Alex the Canadian Good ol Boy....always saying something good about God....when the guys were referring to lisa as "sugar britches"
