Guys got a level of control thats absolutely mind blowing. I remember watching pocket back when he was just a little kid ridding his tricycle out into the circle lmao. Dudes been at it for so long!
There's a science with Bboy Pocket.
He might be short but that's what makes him spin so fast. Since his weight is so close and concentrated, he is able to accelerate much faster than other bboys. And due to his heavy reliance on powermoving, Pocket managed to gain an incredible physic over the years, giving him an advantage in maintaining the duration of his powermoves.
Basically, his body was formed for powermoving

True, I was just thinking that his body almost looks like it was designed for powermoves like this (or gymnastics, I guess). It looks like he has incredibly short arms relative to the rest of his body, which is a huge advantage. It's like if you wanted to pick up a long stick with something heavy on the end of it, it's much easier to pick it up holding the stick near the heavy bit than at the far end. Same principle here. Short legs also help, less weight to move around apart from anything else.
But yeah, like you say, it's mainly to do with the fact he has such a tight center of gravity.
Can't believe he retained lot of the flexibility and skills that usually only kids and young teens can do but yet, even when this guy gets older, he's able to still perform those same moves and lot more today. I remember first seeing him in R16 Korea 2007, then made a name for himself in IBE 2009, and now, he's rippin it like no other.
I saw an interview where he talked about his typical like daily Workout routine and 40 minutes to an hour alone is stretching so that is probably why he can do all of that while still being so fucking strong. ya know?

Totally shocking to say the least but it didn't happen over night takes lots of practice, and motivation. I'm not from World Of Dance but I remember doing this in the 90's, to 05. I'm happy to see that breakdancing didn't fade away like some of this other stuff over time.
