Thanks for all the support on this new series! I am having a ton of fun with it :) I love all the suggestions, just know that I am recording most of the series way ahead of when you are seeing the videos! I learn something from you guys ALL the time! Please enjoy 🥰
You know what might be fun if you want to keep this series going!?! Each time you get stumped because you're lacking something, you start a new world, but expand it by double or whatever you choose. Kind of like a test to see how small you can make your world, but still thrive. It's too bad you can't just expand your existing world each time you need to or every time you reach a milestone.
This is so funny. I'm so glad you can't fall off the edge. I don't know why panning takes so much food. You have to be a master at organization. Have you ever been so excited finding clay? One good thing is the animals can't run very far lol. The cows are taking over.
this is just a guess based on what I know about minecraft but there might be a local spawn limit. if so then killing the animals around will not be a problem since all the spawns needed to reach that spawn limit will have to be in your one chunk area so there should always be plenty of animals. assuming your area meets any other spawn requirements of the animal. spreading the grass out to cover as much area as possible will help that.
The animal spawns are pretty insane! I guess food really isn't going to be much of a problem at this rate, lol. I'm concerned that planting your trees near the edge like that is going to cause leaf blocks to not spawn if they would have been overhanging the edge of the chunk. I think you can move them, but maybe not until they sprout into saplings.
I would personally try a few worlds until there is one with clay and at least one flax seed. maybe there's a mod where the clay drops from panning are increased? that would help. you can't even go to the copper age like this.
tailspinner is on point with what he said about dirt I would add its to bad you chose to make the world so you cant fall off if you could go past the edge you could make your area bigger by placing your dirt out past the edge giving you a larger area for animals to spawn. how ever you would need to fence the edge some how so they don't just run off to there death. there is a mod that makes it possible to grind stones into sand with a quern. that might prove a needed thing since it looks like you will run out of sand before you get a lot of clay.
I cant make a quern without a pickaxe :( Im good with the way I set it up. I would have died many, many times if I had the edge unblocked 😪 and probably wouldnt have had time to fence it before all the animals fell off
@@HypnotiqueAKAHypi Now I am wondering if you were to dig all the way through the Chunk, would you just fall, or would you be standing in the air? Yes, she would for sure fall off the edge in no time at all!!!!!
It´s so funny with all this "running food" like cows and bunnys around :D ! You only have to pick them up and lay them down into the fire ;) .... great idea to store items in the firepits! How deep can you dig down into the chunk to get the dirt? Never tried this. Why do you throw away the bones? Later you could make bonemeal for the crops, if some will spawn. Can´t await the next series ! Well done Hypi 😀
@@talespinnergames8404 yeah, thats a good idea. I have been throwing my bones away, but may keep them now. I do have quite a few episodes already recorded so we will see!
This will be interesting, a VS Hypi series with no exploring whatsoever! 😮Not sure how far ahead you have recorded but it occurred to me that it might be worthwhile to gradually replace your dirt walls with hay bales. You have a limited number of dirt blocks which will keep growing unlimited quantities of grass (and consequently spawning meat for your starving seraph) as long as they are spread out rather than stacked up. Is this world is small enough that you can light it all up enough to drifter-proof it? Because I don’t think the drifters (once they spawn) have enough room to wander away and lose agro in the morning. You’re going to get quite a few rusty gears while you’re panning literally every piece of sand you have for clay… try not to spend them all in one place. 😂
@@HypnotiqueAKAHypi No spoilers! We’ve been “spoiled” by the ability to make suggestions in near-real-time on your Wilderness Survival streams, the backseat gaming habit dies hard.
So when you’re panning when your inventory is full as it was for a lot of the time, then the panned items drop at your feet? That’s a little less stress.. always kicked myself when panning with a full inventory.
g-portal, has many issues with them over the years.. Also can you not make bags out of grass? or was that a mod? thought base game let you make 2 or 3 slot bags out of grass.
No, you can't make bags out of grass unfortunately :( Gportal still has not fixed our server and I'm honestly wondering if our world is lost. I will be so sad if so.....
@@HypnotiqueAKAHypi ya i double checked unloaded all mods start a new world.. no grass bags.. oh well just watching through the series now on ep 4 now.. lol enjoying it

milestones would be interesting, i believe if Hypi set it up in a certain way she could add chunks.
Decent idea :)

Im glad you're enjoying! I am surprised at how much fun I am having and what a challenge it is. Panning is hungry work!

6:50 Minecraft chunks are 16x16, but Vintage Story chunks are 32x32.
Oh, thanks! So Im not cheating! Lol
Nope!

I tried a few worlds and this was the best one, so I went with it. All of that is part of the challenge :) You have no faith! 🤣
@@HypnotiqueAKAHypi I'm up to about 40+ worlds that have either no trees, no sand/gravel, no water, etc. Finding a viable world is rough.
When your stuck and really need an inventory space open you crafting grid and put item in there to transport it.
Right! I forgot about that! Thank you! You move slow but I dont have far to go! 🤣
the dirt is going to gold. need it for your house and for growing trees
Yep, gotta be careful with my dirt!
Pretty cool video. I’m Already invested in the series lol
Thank you 😊
