As a Washington fan I agree. Take who you want Chicago. We can’t lose.
That is not how you get the guy you want. Just because Carolina screwed up and Dan Patrick thinks that’s the way it works…don’t be a lemming. Caleb has a chance to be the best QB in the league….he’s from the area…more than likely wants to play there on top of everything else. You better believe Washington is making the call and not playing the stupid Dan Patrick game.

@@anz2441 JD has done it once in 5 years with 2 1st round WRs and doesn't throw over the middle. 25% of his stats were vs 2 garbage teams last year.
As a Washington fan, I will take Caleb or Jayden. So I hope Washington doesn't desperately want one more than the other. Keep every draft pick and take the one who falls to them. Honestly, I think I prefer Jayden.

Leverage your pick to get more picks! Trade back to number 3 take Marvin Harrison get a OL with the 9th pick get OL and DL in the 2nd round should have 4 top 40 picks in this year’s draft! Plus have $67 million to sign your CB and bring in some veteran Free Agents to sure up this current roster that won 7 games last year with your current QB who missed 4 games because of injury!! Get him some help I don’t care if Williams is better than fields or not! Fields has shown he is good enough and he is getting better!! Get him some weapons and more help! If he doesn’t get the job done this year you haven’t paid him yet so it will be no problem replacing him next year with your number 1 pick from Washington next year! Which should be a top pick since they will have a rookie QB

I didn’t like the Haskins pick from the gate but I let Riddick convince me and make me more comfortable about it. It didn’t take me but a few games to realize my vibes were right. So I’m riding with Dan on this one, stand firm at number 2. I don’t want to give up nothing to move up just one slot…I’m cool with Williams or Daniels.
Haskins bless his soul, was a statue in the pocket and didn’t seem to pick up on reading the defense. Was playing for a bum owner so he didn’t have a great chance

Caleb fumbled 30 times in 37 games in college. He was 13th in the college with 8 last year. So it's been who he is his entire career. That's Justin Field's level of fumbling 38 times in 40 NFL games. I don't see that getting better when the players are bigger and faster. People are looking at he is like Mahomes but he is bad with ball security.
Daniels rushed 3,307 yards and 12,749 yards passing and he fumbled only 8 times in college, only twice last season. Another thing, throwing reps, seeing defenses matter. Williams got a lot of game reps with 1099 passing attempts. Daniels got in Patrick Mahomes (over 1300 reps ) with 1400. For instance, Justin Fields had 618 and Mitchell Trubisky 572 in college, that's only 200 reps per season. Brock Purdy had 1,467 reps and 12,170 yards, and CJ Stroud only had 830 attempts in two years but that's 400 reps per year, twice as many as Fields and Mitch. You wonder why they looked lost? Maybe in-game experience, even at the college level matters.
Stroud is 6'3 215, Williams is 6'1" 215, and Daniels is 6'4" 210. He is only five pounds lighter but has the height to carry ten or fifteen more pounds without slowing him down. I watched both Daniels and Williams and the more I watched Williams the more didn't like, fumbling, strip sacks, and holding the ball too long instead of 1,2,3, throw.

If you pass on Caleb you might as well let NE and Washington battle for the #1 and take the best deal. Grab Maye @ # 2 or 3. Honestly any one of the 3 (Maye, Jayden , Caleb) is an upgrade from Fields and will be set up to succeed

Jayden Daniels was great as a freshman I thought he played perfect that season &I'm all in on Daniels being special but I'd still take Drake Maye #1 and Caleb #2 but Jayden Daniels sophomore year &junior year do exist &it's those seasons that give me pause &keep him behind the other two. I expect all three QBs to make the pro-bowl

caleb williams: 31 college games, 33 fumbles , 83 sacks. he is a smaller slower version of Justin Fields without the humility
He's better than Fields in the pocket where it matters. Caleb had a trash O line trash Def and no WRs and still put up great #s this last season. He's the guy.
I prefer jayden, but sad that the fields trade happened and we are most likely not going for marvin harrison jr who was my most preferred

these media guys this week are laughable and dont know ball. Not once for the whole year did they even mention jayden name but out of nowhere with 0 new info. or footage cause the season has been over for 2+ months, they suddenly like jayden. that’s actually not true. At least a few of the media have said they really haven’t had a chance to take a deep dive and fully break down each quarterback until now. Also many said final determination will be after the combine, pro day etc. Given that Bears will select Caleb, Commanders will select Jayden. Both will be better than Young and JF will do on to play somewhere and lead his team to the playoffs in the next 2 years. Yes, the Bears coaching is that bad. Who will be the best quarterback? in my mind a 6ft 4 dynamic passer, who has a rocket for legs… IF HE listens unlike egotistical RG3 to SLIDE

Louis Riddick !!? I agree with you 110% !!! I am not in the CW #13 boat, I've watched tapes and some games on him. Don't think he's a starter, he's a sitter for a season. Jayden Daniels #5, that's the young man I can start and get positive feed back after his first 6 games in to the season. Every college rookie will need some "clean up" work or need to FOR SURE ' sit time' to see the structure and momentum of the Offense. I'm picking #5 JAYDEN DANIELS FROM LSU !!! BEAR DOWN !!!
