I have actually started doing this March 28,2020. I waited a few days before checking on them , when I did here were a lot of them crawling around on top when they are normally underneath the compost,. I was amazed how many worms I have now sense I started my first worm farm December 21, 2019. I did check the rolls Friday Night April 7th, 2020, wanted to see if any of the worms had .com d their way I side yet, did not see any but cou!d see a few were starting. Think I Will feed like this for now .on, great way to get rid of more food faster
That is great, you can also feed a lot more this way I feel then adding pockets of food. As the worms can take their time to get into it and expand in numbers as well. I'm really starting to feed all of my bins and bags systems this way.
Cool im going to try this. Where can i get Europe worms i would like to get some of those to and can i put both worms red wigglers and European togeter.
I'm not sure where you live but in the US I actually have an affiliate link bit.ly/2XXy18v for Meme's worms and they sell European Nightcrawlers and Red Worms. You can mix them together but they will not interbreed. I don't do this but from what I've read it seems like the conditions will favor one and they will end up being the primary species in the system.

What do you do with the newspaper once it is empty. Does it clump up? Break down fast?
