Awesome video. I was wondering. Your are putting fence up. What are you going to put in the area that is inclosed and why are there so many rocks? They really don't look like rocks that in use to. Glad everything went will. Thanks you god Bless. PS you are sure in God Country.

This property belongs to some friends of ours. They just want to keep range cattle out. It's basically a retreat property for them to get out of the city. This whole stretch of country has had volcanic activity so all this rock is lava flow or magma. Very much like what you would find in Hawaii. Thanks for watching.

@@HighDesertHomestead thank you now I understand. What do the cattle eat I really didn't see much to eat only the shrub like trees? Sorry about all the questions.

@@margaretporkolab7166 There is some grass and other plants but it takes about 72 acres to run a cow calf pair.

@@HighDesertHomestead wow that is interesting. Sorry more questions. Do the cattle pair let's say. They come up to the gate every night for water and extra feed? I know that Tin Barn Farm and Allen's place they irrigate for water. So imagine that there would be much of water out there.

Cattle are ranged on thousands of acres. Most places are sectioned off. A section is 640 acres. Most have stock tanks or dirt tanks. Some ranchers haul water to pastures. But as a rule range cattle fend for themselves until time to be rounded up and vaccinated , branded, and the calves get weaned. Don't get me wrong ranches manage pastures and supplement their cattle. But range cattle pretty much take care of their selves.
