Here's an idea for a new modded item. An already primed explosive that goes off as soon as you die...or drop it. This will make using handcuffs a little riskier.
Basically a deadman's switch, or like the Martyrdom perk from CoD, would be pretty interesting, though might not be very effective vs Cuffs as it'd almost certainly kill yourself aswell, I think you only start with 1 cred so no PHDFlopper, if your running form cuffs you just throw it in front of yourself and away from Detective, it you accept the cuffs you basically sign your own death sentence, and while you do get the Detective kill it leaves your Traitor buddy alone, they can rez you but it'd cost another credit and risk exposing one if not both traitors, so for 2 credits (all the credits the traitors have at the start) you've killed the Detective and have to risk rezzing, or, have to kill someone beforehand to earn an extra credit for Flopper so you don't have to Rezz, risking more exposure, either way isn't very effective, and requires setup and the Detective to even buy or use the cuffs on you, when for 1 Cred you can just Slam/Harpoon the Detective before he gets close enough to Cuff you
