- Lexi shows her first and last signs of labor. She gave birth to 5 puppies. I unfortunately lost the footage of the whelping process. But I do add a short slideshow at the end of the video of the puppies after birth. I hope you enjoy the video! I will be posting more, stay tuned!

Mine does not want to get off my bed. The vet said she had to stay off because they are to high. The anxiety is torture. Poor baby but we are all waiting.

Guys can some one help, whats the maxmum day for pomerian delivery. Actually my dog got completed 65 days but still no signs.

Wow 10, that is a lot esp for a first litter! I hope things go well with your girl. Lexi only had 4 for her first. She going to have another litter in August

She is a Border Collie.
Hello I have a Dalmatian Pitbull mix and I don't know how far along pregnant she is but her nipples are starting to get big I have a vet appointment tomorrow and the owner that eventually had her she's a straight to everyone so he had her for two days cuz she is the Pitbull kind and she kind of attacked his older dog but nevertheless and what not.
I told my mom I have a vet appointment just to check her out and see how the puppies are doing and whatnot and have an ultrasound if possible and my mother got really upset and she says that's going to be too expensive and whatnot I can afford it I have a really good paying job I know it's going to be probably around $300 to $500 I don't know what to expect this is my very first situation and I just don't want to have her go to someone I can't trust and not know where she's going to be at because people around here are really backwards and they're not very kind to their animals so she's best in my kind of care but nevertheless my mom says just let her have her puppies naturally and I said I can't do that Mom if they're complications I need to have a vet on speed dial and she says no you don't dogs know how to take care of their own I said well she's not in the wild she's in our care human care and I need to be prepared for the worst in case something happened I need to get my equipment ready I need to buy things I need to get like a kiddie pool so my mom's fighting me tooth and nail and she's telling me to cancel the vet appointment for tomorrow and I said I'm not doing that I need to know what condition she's in and how far along she is and she says well just cancel it right now and just go you know a few weeks later if not next month I said if she has anything wrong with her now it'll be way too late and she'll be dead along with the puppies I said that's not very smart so apparently my mother doesn't know what she's talking about because she thinks she can take care of her own I'm sure she can but animals are different when they become part of the human pack that's how I think about it and I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if something happened and I didn't prevent it when I could have.
so do you have any advice on what I should ask the vet when it comes to her vet appointment?
Well I can tell you're really worried and care for this dog. Did you see the mating happen? Like they got "stuck"? It's typically 63 days from that day they got stuck, to expect puppies to be born. Vet will want to know that. They will do an ultra sound if she's at least 30 days pregnant. If it has been that long, the vet should be able to tell you how many puppies to expect. (Keep in mind though, it's not always accurate.) I get it, vets can be super expensive. The check up was less than $100 CAD (for me) but all vets have different rates so it's hard to say a set amount of how much it will be. I'd just explain to the vet that you think your dog may be pregnant, and tell them, if you know, when the mating happened. I have no experience in pregnancy going wrong so I can't really advise you there. The vet will know what's best. You said your dog is a pullbull, so they aren't small dogs. Smaller dogs usually have more complications than med/large dogs. I wouldn't stress too much, especially since you're going to the vet. I hope all goes well!
@@jlpuppies1976 hello no I have not seen the mating happening she apparently from what the vet says she went into her first heat and she got knocked up by that she says she looks like she's about 8 to 9 months old at the youngest and maybe a year she said she has perfect teeth no worms no heartworms no worms in her stools she has a completely good bill of health and she's got her distemper her rabies her parvo she has her whole shot set up and the vet said she would be giving birth between now and 5 days from today or sooner so everything is happening so soon but everything happens for a good reason I love your videos by the way thank you so much for sharing your experience
