It's a shame that none of these bone conduction headsets support wired connection. I need that for open ear monitoring on my left ear (without blocking normal hearing) in order to overcome head shadow effect from single (right) side deafness. So since you've torn down such headset, do you know how to hack in to support wired connection? (even losing wireless functionality is acceptable)
