Well Peter Worswick I am excited you have popped up on my feed. I love your paintings and have just watched 3 of them in the last hour or so. Your passion for painting comes through the screen and I certainly will be studying some of your videos for technique etc. Thank you for sharing your talent and skills. Merry Christmas.
Nicely done. Underrated channel in my opinion. As a realism artist struggling for the old TH-cam engagement, I feel your pain. I'm glad to come abroad and watch the journey. Keep up the good work!
Techniques of value, edging, shadows, light play, all so important and especially with a subject such as snow. You explained it so well. Are you sure you didn’t get your reference photo from my back yard? Currently this is exactly what it looks like. Expertly done Peter, love it. Merry Christmas!
Such a amazing, beautiful piece, you definitely got the light, and added a bit of warmth. A very challenging piece to work on. I think you’ve got it perfectly. I’m not a oils person, mainly acrylic and watercolour, so I find oils a bit intimidating, although I love the look and texture you can achieve. Would love to learn with oils. Thank you so much, this is a really beautiful piece. Have a wonderful Christmas with your family .
Yes that certainly works, I sometimes tint my gesso to avoid painting on a white surface and leaving the gesso exposed in the finished painting is perfectly fine 👍

Amazing tones. The realism you achieved with just a limited palette is incredible. I feel the warmth from the sun blasting thru the cold

Thank you Lesley, You should have a practice with some oils, no harder or easier than acrylics, use a limited palette and enjoy 👍
Beautiful, I would like to try that. Thank you!

Uzaklık bile harika emeğine sağlık
Thank you so much 😊
When I do a snow scene I apply a light blue-grey mix in the gesso
