How to Package and Ship Etsy Stickers in an affordable and weatherproof manner

- If you want to start selling stickers on Etsy and want to learn how to ship them, you've come to the right video! Here, I'll share all about how I ship the stickers that I sell on Etsy. Do you have any tips on how to ship and package large vinyl decals with First Class Stamped Mail?
I meant to ask but do you include the packing slip/receipt?
Hi Emily! I do include the packing slip but not the receipt with how much they paid. I use the packing slip to write a little personalized note for everyone and let them know that they can contact me if they have any questions or concerns.
I don't include the receipt with the payment amount because i received advice from a friend who said she gets buyer's remorse every time she gets a receipt with the payment amount lol.
@@mariaworkman 😂 I was including the receipt but I feel like it's a waste of paper since they get an email with all that information anyways - I just didn't want to seem unprofessional for not adding them in there but I doubt people would care lol
I mail my stickers like this and none my orders have updated tracking. all of them show "pre-transit" and it's hurting my star seller badge.. plus now they put a reserve on my account because of shipping/tracking not being updated
Hi Emily! This worked for me for over a year but lately, I've had this start happening to me too for about 50% of my orders 😭. In my case, it seems like it's based on the day that I'm shipping and possibly what day they enter the post office because it seems like usually all my envelopes that i send in a day scan or none of them scan.
What I've started doing is within 24 hours of mailing, if it still says pre-transit then i message the buyer and let them know that some of my envelopes aren't scanning but that i wanted to reassure them that i dropped it off on X date so it should be on its way to them. In most cases, people are nice and respond with a thank you for letting them know and say they'll be on the lookout for it. Some buyers go the extra step to let me know when they receive it if it's still showing as pre-transit after delivery. I think the customers appreciate being contacted before having to contact you about the shipping, so that's less messages that you have to feel rushed to respond to for the star seller status. As for the reserve, i haven't had that happen to me but I'm so sorry that happened to you. I hope that letter mail will start getting scanned again soon and that your reserve will be removed. ☹️

I put in the "message to buyers" basically explaining that I can't guarantee tracking and it's up to USPS scanning my envelopes or not but I promise the order is on it's way! I hate having to do this and feel like Etsy should figure out a way for us who ship letters (under 1oz) to provide tracking or not let it affect our seller badge. When I was just using stamps - I had in my description and shipping policies that I don't provide tracking because it's such a small/light envelope and don't want to charge for shipping and people never seemed to mind that lol
