Amazing resilience from Probe. He chippered away at that push in a calm and collected fashion and kept his supply high. Then he sent a small counterattack at the exact right time.
"Dragoon retention" sounds like a hideous rare medical condition. If I ever somehow meet Artosis in real life, I'm going to ask him for Flash's autograph.
In chess there's a concept called "putting the question" to a bishop, where it either has to move, wasting a turn, or trade for a knight, which is generally slightly unfavorable. That kinda feels like the 5th base for protoss does to terran
wow i really enjoyed this game. showed some really good protoss play and showed off what youve been talking about with the reduced resources on this map so well
I love the comment artosis made 1 or two games ago about how flash doesn't make the bunker if the goon is chasing his scv and then this game you see exactly what happens when the toss sends the first goon across the map
I want to take a moment to give appreciation to the silly thumbnail. Instead of these guys standing there posing all badass , showing them in a goofy manner brings them closer to home lmao 13:37 rare footage of spider mines actually working as intended instead of being utterly useless/getting blown up/not hitting anything 22:25 “i bet you didn’t see this happening” im not a BW wizard like Arty but once Probe took all those bases and started mining and flash stayed on those 3-4 bases , i knew flash was gonna lose. I don’t know anything about these maps but as soon as arty mentioned them running outta minerals i was like “oh no…flash is gonna lose!” Sure enough. Everything mined out on flash’s side. Probe still mining hard and whittling him down.
Hey Arty! Thanks as always for entertaining me. I think a good term for when protoss takes a 5th and terran has 3 would be a timer or a clock. It's economic pressure that over TIME will increase exponentially. So i like the phrase timer or clock. Thanks again.
Would've loved to see drops, from both sides. Dropping zealots onto a sieged position like that, that doesn't have goliaths, is so strong. Also, moving the push cross-map is not so feasible, but a dropship or two with vultures would've been a good way to hurt the bottom right economy.
Met my neighbour at the grocery store, was forced to small talk and said "cold huh today, doesnt feel like a nice end of summer" She replied that there was another Flash upload.
This is one of the critical weak points of Flash's upgrade terran meta. 'Cuz when u're turtling, if the other players suddenly become too greedy, they can have more bases and outrun in the marco. Another critical point was shown at 14:36, when half of Flash tanks didn't fire in the massive engagement due to the blockcade/outrange of his lower tanks layer, which made his push lost his momentum.
i think the main thing the pros need to consider is that with some of the new/different maps such as Kickback you can't necessarily play 100% standard. As Arty rightly pointed out, on a normal map this was a won Terran game because those first few bases would have still had minerals and the terran reinforcements would have ended the game. He played a standard map strategy and it didn't quite work here, despite the arbiters being borderline useless for most of the game
Got a couple questions. Do unsieged tanks beat zealots? Do dragoons beat unsieged tanks? Do zealots beat sieged tanks? What are the roles of the dragoon and the zealot vs terran?
16:00 lol arty praising the protoss micro when terran is just dominating him every step of the way. Perfect EMP's and the protoss player has no answers, can't even finish off a 1 hp science vessel
At 13:05, when Flash moves out with a push, why is the Protoss army staying so close to their own base, rather than being out on the map to slow down the push?
Amazing resilience from Probe. He chippered away at that push in a calm and collected fashion and kept his supply high. Then he sent a small counterattack at the exact right time.
I bet Flash gets chills in real time by witnessing himself play
Hes in a constant cryogenic state... It's why arty and many usually have more chill issues when Flash is around
LoL
"Guys, I lost!.. Literal chills"
Imagine if flash could play himself, the rate at which the meta would change
@@afwallerLol
I appreciate Artosis giving a brief of what the players are saying in the chat
What a chilling match. At one point even the tanks of Flash got chilled.
"Dragoon retention" sounds like a hideous rare medical condition.
If I ever somehow meet Artosis in real life, I'm going to ask him for Flash's autograph.
7:12 you see a goon getting close to a mine.. the next time we look in the photos base you can see the corpse. 😂
7:22 / 22:59 funny => 10 secs later

Ruy Lopez!
incredibly amazing game. Also an incredible map, it's unbelievable how we can see such innovation decades after release ...
I bet that poor Arty is afraid to say chills at this point 😅
I'm getting so many chills from Arty not getting chills.
Ya, a bit overused at this point lol
Those minefields on the right third of the map during 14:00 and on really had a big impact supporting flash's push, awesome game, thanks Artosis!
wow i really enjoyed this game. showed some really good protoss play and showed off what youve been talking about with the reduced resources on this map so well
I never had to drink hot coffee in the mornings but since I started watching daily I’ve just been so chilly I need something to warm up
Imagine asking your opponent “are u flash?” And he replies “yes”
I love the comment artosis made 1 or two games ago about how flash doesn't make the bunker if the goon is chasing his scv and then this game you see exactly what happens when the toss sends the first goon across the map
Im here first because I was so chilled by yesterdays game I never managed to leave.
What happened?
@@fengson362 I was frozen to the floor.
When you cast Stasis, it's actually just Artosis watching Flash replays.
22:27 Alright alright I'll admit he did have me with that initial push. But Probe actually not throwing goons into the tank grinder was big.
Artosis called it at 1:43 lol
I want to take a moment to give appreciation to the silly thumbnail. Instead of these guys standing there posing all badass , showing them in a goofy manner brings them closer to home lmao

Protoss got storm researched but then never made one templar lol
Really good game showing the protoss player keeping their head on and keeping the focus needed for the win.
Happy to meet Flash = chills
Happy vs Flash
That was a wild game. I think Kickback is my favorite map in the pool atm.
This was one of the cooler games for me to watch lately. Thanks for the cast!
The temperature outside ? Chilly. The meal I'm eating ? Chili. Coincidence ? Ain't no way.
Who is your favorite penguin?
Nationality?
@@dpturkey4 Chile ofc.
The point and example on retaining goons is well taken to heart. Excellent match to learn from.
"Theres not a single missle turret" while there is literally a missle turret in the center of the screen and theres one bellow.

what a great game to watch!!! thank you for casting this one! a gem
Protoss played this very very well and it was refreshing to see this. No chills were had though
Such a great game! Thank you Artosis.
That was really interesting, how Flash got himself deep into a push, but then resources dried up... Really changes the meta as you said
More chills than a winter in Fairbanks
I don't often watch Brood war games, this was a pretty exciting match!

the protoss did so well, his macro understanding and timing was beautiful
can you imagine artosis runs into flash and flash does a cc 1st and got 1st scout?
Hello great to see some goold Starcraft gameplay!
Great game! Love to see dragoon king in action.
What a thrilling game! thanks arty!
Har bokstavligen chills just nu
Jeg har bogstaveligt kødboller nu
Fascinating all the protoss hiding themselves against strong terrans.. strange...
Really fantasic game from Probe.
Love this channel ❤
WHEN SOME ZERG BRO
Probe did the right thing: if you cannot overcome your enemies static defenses, than you need to play for a macro victory and expand aggressively
Well, another protoss map!! Nice
I love to look at the Pro's Sim City on this map !
Met my neighbour at the grocery store, was forced to small talk and said "cold huh today, doesnt feel like a nice end of summer"

Well played!
11:23 'Smatter'? (i had too much coffee today) 😅
Flash was mostly dominating. Would have won easily if he didn't leave half of his army behind when attacking.
Well done from our Protoss
Flash is so damn scary. Like being a average ninja facing down Hashirama or Madara while knowing their legendary status and feats.
flash casts is sick, i want to keep seeing flash until he enters asl
9:13 "Not even Flash (and that's who he's against) can attack in a position like this."
lol
Cant wait for flash to figure this map out for everyone. 😂
Zerg is so HYPE!
I love how tanks splatter dragoons
Guys stop saying chills in the comments please otherwise Arty will get self-conscious and won't be giving us chills during casts no more xD 🥶🥶🥶
IT seems like Flash missed the attack in the main
chills
awesome game. Didn't see that coming, wow.
I think that protoss guy watches ArtosisCasts
dammmm that was a GOOD GAME this is a great map for watching tvp
I've said this before, and have seen others commenting on this. Whenever a title is yes or no question, no is always the answer :(
I am so sick of arty getting chills
Flashcasts, chillcasts. Good stuff.
gateway man
Got a couple questions. Do unsieged tanks beat zealots? Do dragoons beat unsieged tanks? Do zealots beat sieged tanks? What are the roles of the dragoon and the zealot vs terran?
I thought probe lost it at 17:13 , nice comeback.
I will admit to being very confused, how is that account name with a bunch of oo's turn into Probe?
When I started the day I didn't see this happening!
ah yes, the classic zealot printer goes brrrrr
Don't worry arty, i have chills so you don't have to say it 😂
Im literally getting chills boys, its 7° C outside, where did summer go? 🥶
zealots are a good unit
Excellent game!!
16:00 lol arty praising the protoss micro when terran is just dominating him every step of the way. Perfect EMP's and the protoss player has no answers, can't even finish off a 1 hp science vessel
If I beat flash for the first time I 100% would continue playing and wipe all his units/buildings.
Can Flash do X? TBH if anyone in Brood War can do something it's probably Flash.
Should have lifted that base way more early.
It was clear that Probe was going to win....the amazing is that Flash hold it till so long.
Probe played a lot like stork - carriers
Can Scouts beat the Tank Science vessel game?
Why don't terrans do vulture drops against undefended walled-off protoss bases? The starport is already built, you just pay for a dropship
A really wonderful game. Nuff said. Move on please.
Oh I know who this is, it's one of Rain's alt accounts
Source: I have no actual idea
It appears Flash would not, as a matter of fact, have won.
Wow !
No shot that was a Protoss ape. Probe must be a Terran player smurfing, he played too smart
can anyone provide me the name of this map so i can Google it and understand exactly what's up with it
Protoss player was tough dude...
Awesome match
At 13:05, when Flash moves out with a push, why is the Protoss army staying so close to their own base, rather than being out on the map to slow down the push?
Because no player is perfect and no one has infinite actions to spare. It's always a decision where to spend those better.
love from 🇨🇱/ Chile.
@Profanegaming name-dropped AYAYA
artoPog
Artosis would've won
Sick game
Strong Zerg make it look pointless to even try
