When SmallAnt plays Lockout the 3 hour video isnt for background, i literally was on the edge of my seat for half the video! I wanted Smant to win so damn hard and by the time he obliterated them all in the swamp i totally believed in him
The escalation is amazing in this. At the beginning he's all like "6 people? This is gonna be hard." Then at the end he's all like "They should've brought 7 people." It's amazing how someone's confidence can spike like that in just 3 hours.
Obviously those guys weren't Minecraft pros, but a very impressive show. Watching you be consistently stressed for 3 hours was hilarious in itself, watching you kill the six of them one after another like a boss rush was just silly and hilarious. Tense.
@@benladd4791If they didn't play Minecraft beforehand, how did they play lockout? Unless Stardew Valley has its own lockout, I don't see how they could've done it otherwise.
But still. You can't take away from the fact that the brought SIX PEOPLE!!!! Even if they're really bad that's a testament to his skills. And spoiler alert: He actually beat them in the end. That REALLY shows his skills.

@@objectshowfan362 yeah bro youre right, I'm sure not a single one of them knew how, and collectively all 6 of them had to spent every moment going for slime and would not have been beneficial for one of them to spend spend under 2 minutes look it up
I know that the teams are shown on the right with their color, but right above your head is literally just the word orange so you can't blame chat for being confused on your color lol
@@charleysimmons427 Hard to say if it's harder or not. On one hand, Dream only has to kill the Ender Dragon, which is in a speedrunner's blood. Smant has to complete a lot of random tasks. On the other hand, one death and it's over for Dream. At least Smant can respawn.
During the whole slime war thing, the other guys could have just gone to the end lol. Like yes that can take a long time, but the slime wars lasted long enough
I knew smant was really good at minecraft but DAMN this vod takes the cakes bro I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and had so many moments where I was just blown away at the strategies played by him and successfully too!
Since Smant doesn't understand swamp slime spawns, I will explain: Every moon phaze is stores as anumber based on how full the moon is. Full moon being 7(could be a different number but same concept) and new moons being 0. Every night the game rolls a 7 sided die, and if this is less than or equal to the current moon phazes number, slimes will spawn in swamps. This is why there is always none on a new moon and always some on a full moon, because they always will/wont qualify. So to summarize, smant wa scunfusing spawn rate with spawn chance. The moon affects the chance of slimes in swamps for that night, not the rate of spawning. If it fails the inital roll, there are no slime spawns in swamps for that night.
That is not true. Read the wiki page for and the wiki page for . For each slime spawn attempt there is a higher chance for it spawn with lower light levels, and there is a higher chance for it to spawn with a larger moon fraction. Finally, there's another 50% arbitrary chance for it to spawn. If all those pass for one slime spawn attempt, the slime can actually spawn. That means with higher moon fraction the attempt succeeds for more slimes.
@16:50 I sure most do the same that I do. I really enjoy your regular videos but when going to bed I just put on your vods I get to enjoy your content whilest passing out😂
Wouldn’t it be way easier for them to split up and each complete one of the easier tasks while one guy chases smant away so he’s distracted? And then after collude to do the harder ones and keep him away (e.g. end one)
Collab honestly is a lot harder than u think. It requires you to trust tasks to individuals rather than yourself, and they might not be good. They died to mobs a lot. Even in pvp, didn't matter cuz Ant is so much better. They didn't have the best long term strats/ability to slow down Ant
They did split up the easy goals early and managed to complete a lot early by doing tasks SmallAnt wasn't doing. This stopped working when the number of viable goals got smaller though, and when they tried to attack they were simply outclassed in PvP. Still a great match though, very close throughout
@@Billybobjoe_151yeah no, they were just bad and new to the game. Literally nothing else could describe this incompetence, let alone “collaboration is hard”.
Have you ever through about getting someone to edit all of this content for you? I think if you get everyone pov and edit it down into videos you could make good videos for the main channel
If I'm one of 6 idiots on a team, I'm winning. I feel like even with being bad at pvp and speedrunning (I am abysmal at both), I could pull out a win just by allocating my teammates better. One person's job is just to constantly chase smant down and harass him, everyone else is assigned specific tasks that further our goal as a team. They literally had one guy grinding rods and eyes, where was everyone else??
Bruh what was foreignduckslap even *doing* that whole time? 🤣 He was never on screen. Did he even achieve a single one of their goals? I thought for sure with that many people fighting The Great Swamp War of 2023, one guy to be somewhere else working on unrelated stuff would have been the go-to plan, no? While everybody else antagonizes Mr. Ant, one person is working towards other goals behind the scenes seems like a smart play. SURELY he'd have made it to the end by then, riiight? Hrmph. 😒
You see, this is the problem I have when playing Hypixel Bed Wars. Everyone always uses pre-1.8 combat because it's "better". The noobs. A good pvper should be able to kill people no matter the combat system of them or their opponent. I hope I can make people realize that by becoming good enough at post-1.8 PVP to take out even the pre-1.8 pvpers. I know this isn't related to the lockout, I just wanted to get this out somewhere.
When smant introduced them as "Friends who play lockout with each other" my first reaction was "How dare people with experience even suggest a 6v1? Do they have no shame at all?" But good lord they were bad enough to need it
After 2hours I was like "oh they must play twice"... what a turn 😂
Watching this and thinking "oh wow they're almost done" at 1:36:00 only to realize it's only HALFWAY through with 3 tasks left on the board
Yeah I thought there was gonna a second run
I swear every time lockout comes down to 1/2 objectives Smant turns into a villain of epic proportions. I respect it.

Yes they're Y coordinate dependant but swamps should always meet that criteria
