25:30 The Wichita was 600 ft long on ~10600t (standard) and ~13000 (full). Baltimore was 664 ft long on ~13600t (standard) and ~17000 (full). The Zaras were 589 ft long, on ~11700t displacement (standard) and ~14300t (full load) This cruiser you're designing is 700 ft long on 13667t displacement? That's not a ship. It's a very well-armed seagoing javelin.
Not sure if it was intentional or not but the Gladius has cramped crew quarters while the rest of the ships have spacious, but otherwise, the fleet looks very sleek!
@@SoshoKozadokaGojiraChargedUp I think it's because he doesn't like the look of the 7" gun turrets. Meanwhile, the 8" seems to have a *lot* of extra weight and cost, while its jump in accuracy (and damage) isn't really on par, percentage-wise. The 9" is a Mk 5 instead of a Mk 4, so it has _way_ better accuracy. (just my guess tho)
I agree with the approach of getting capital ships up front because of the long construction time. But do you think that the game should just give a player more money in the beginning so they can build more balanced fleets?

I've never been more disappointed in your design choices than when you were designing Gladius :( Like what is the point in designing a ship for every hull when they're all the same design anyway?

Not X, Y, Z, and Omega? ;)

Oh, you're using a Nordic alphabet!
I was switching to Greek 😅

Not intentional at all but exactly the sort of inconsistent nonsense I’d expect 😂
@@BrotherMunro and not to nitpick here, but why must all the cruisers have 6" guns? although I must admit, the hyperfiring arrangement is hilarious.

We’re going to get the long campaign in the next update so we’ll be able to build things up over time :)
Your pup's barks make your videos even funner. ^_^
Can’t wait to see the Ferrari boats you come up with
Gotta love a hyperfiring gun layout.
Modern light cruiser slightly faster than modernized dreadnought and slower than modern battleship?
Gotcha.
"Gladius?" More like The Floating Shotgun to my ancient eyes... >;)
you are effectively building floating tanks; I like it.
Missed opportunity to call Lancia "Palindrome."
I always watch your videos with 2x or 1.5x speed
Hilarious but I can still clearly hear the words
Same!
I like these designs, they are going to be deadly against lighter warships and convoys
Armor up your turrents
Annoyingly you can’t much with cruiser turrets

I'd suggest changing the Lancia's name to Testudo...

And have the same fudging guns too
Oh hush.
