I've been using regular white Dove bar soap for many years. I have briefly tried other brands, and always come back to Dove. It is the ONLY soap for me. Also, I haven't had a bath in many years. I only take showers. I believe, if you aren't rinsed well enough, there will likely be irritation. In the shower you can truly rinse off every trace of suds.
So, I am super stoked to find out Dr. Chung approves of Dove. I've come to trust his opinion.

      Dove soap is pure win.
Its a great balance between moisturising and detergent.

It's so much easier to get soap in there than it is to rinse it out. Leaving any soap on the skin will irritate it. Get a hand-held shower head so you can rinse well, even if you don't use soap! Also, pat yourself dry, don't rub. Rubbing will increase any discomfort you have. When we have a problem, we seem to always want to do something. A lot of times doing nothing is a better option.

Soap dries it out. I rinse with my fingers. I Don't use soap. Put Vaseline sparingly on it later. I know one that just washes his bum with hair conditioner only as soap dries your skin out.
Remember, when one uses water whilst cleaning, nothing sticks to your other skin like your hands. Of course wash hands after or in the shower.
The best way to get poo off your skin on say your hands if it happens with happenstance, is to wash with a decent dish handwashing detergent. It gets rid of the smell as well as the clean.

@@carlospenalver8721No one should ever do regular enemas even if you're having medical issues. Once when I had a episode with constipation I used an enema twice that week and worked right out. Never had to use enema again. If you are using enemas to relieve constipation, you'll do better getting to the root of the problem rather than continue relying on enemas for relief. You probably need to change your diet as with most stomach problems are related to types of unhealthy foods we are eating. I would recommend holding off on the enemas and trying fresh fruits and vegetables first. They have a high content of fiber which is what regulates our bowel activities. There's many other natural remedies that can help too. I'm currently taking Metamucil everyday to get more fiber in my diet. Now that I've been taking it my stools are more pleasantly consistent unlike before they were number 6 on the Bristol scale.
Be careful and tread lightly. Peace and blessings from our Master and Savior Yahshua the Messiah.

I actually use a dish soap called Ecos "Free and Clear" plant powered soap. I discovered this by accident when I ran out of soap and grabbed the dish soap to bathe with. Since I started using it I don't have hemorrhoidal symptoms anymore, and my bowel movements are back to normal without constipation from a swelled anus. Now I only use that to bathe with. It rinses easily without soapy residue. It has only like 7 ingredients.

Not enough people care about good anal hygiene, IMHO. I don’t care if it’s bad for my anus or not, I scrub down there 👏 EVERY 👏 SINGLE 👏 DAY. My biggest pet peeve is people who walk around smelling like swamp ass, so I make certain to get that area good and *scrubbed.* My soap of choice for down there is tea tree oil shampoo. The tea tree oil strips the area of all the filth and oils that accumulate everyday, arrests any odor, and leaves the area smelling fresh as a noonday country breeze. Been using the stuff for more than a decade now. Gave me the itchies at first, but I got some cream for that and my anus is as tough as nails now. I hit that area with the shampoo first thing in the morning, and then make sure to give it a THOROUGH rinse. There’s way too many people out there inadvertently leaving unpleasant smells everywhere they sit because they don’t bother washing properly “down there.”

Dial bar soap works for me. Rinse butthole with shower head, lather with dial bar on a soft wash cloth and leave suds there for 2 minutes before rinsing. No butthole odor at all until the next bowel movement. Cleanse with water wipes until next shower.

Dang I never thought of soap not being a good idea. I wash with dial antibacterial and I always use it to clean my crack. Guess my routine will be changing from now on and do myself a trial period for a few weeks.

Doc what could be my condition my anus skin (outside and inside around) is very sensitive? The skin would get stinging pain (similar to when you over scratch a mosquito bite) from time to time like it would react to my poop. And it doesn't heal fast - I noticed also that it is more likely to happen when I'm stress. My poop frequency and quality is generally okay thanks to fiber. I would appreciate your response.

    • @Mcfreddo
      @Mcfreddo 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

You're not eating enough fibre that should be in your diet. Whole foods- rinsed off vegetables and cooked enough to get your nutrients. Eat fresh whole fruits as well. Not juice drinks. Stay away from processed food places like the company hamburger joints. That's refined nutrient lacking junk food, with extremely little fibre.
If you're American, (North American, by your spelling: hemorrhoids,) don't eat those sweet junk food breakfasts like pancakes. White flour, no fibre in it. Starch and nothing else. All that junk makes you constipated and that is why a person ends up with haemorrhoids, but make sure you do drink enough water. Your body requires water and it'll take it from your gut. Drink. Don't drink sugar drinks like sweetened soda. It's water alone.
The only way to rid of haemorrhoids is to have them cut out by a surgeon. A physician like this guy who has made this video. (A haemorrhoid is the thing that remains after the initial ballooned vein from the pressure to pass out the stool.)
      I hope this helps.
