The emotion is overwhelming when you realise that all these people are drawn together through great suffering. The music is so moving it brings it to life.

The fact that Michelle is singing, to me, makes this song even more emotional because I can easily imagine that it's her character singing and it's just beautiful. Sad, of course, but beautiful.
I remember watching this in the cinema. People started to leave as the credits began to roll, then Michelle Pfiefer started to sing and people came back in and sat down to hear it. There were many tears, mine included. This should have been nominated for an award and sung live. Such a beautiful, soul touching melody ❤
The scene, the song and Michelle Pfeiffer's performance are indisputably overwhelming. The chest tightens and tears fall without asking for permission. It's a mix of emotions! From the bottom of my heart, I can only say, thank you so much for presenting us with such beauty!
This song epitomizes the longing and yearning for someone. Excellent job by Michele Pfiffer. I understand Kenneth Branagh wrote the lyrics. If so, he did an excellent job.
Parere..
@@williamorr9449 Absolutely, and for some reason the second time I watched it out of theaters, I realized she was the actress mentioned from the aging makeup.
Patrick Doyle composed the score for the movie, including this song. I was not surprised when I heard this truly unforgettable performance by Pfeiffer; she has released singles in a few other films in the past, such as for example in “One fine day”, but this song is immensely powerful if you know the story behind the lyrics and watched the movie. I thought the movie was way above average and should have been given the proper recognition. KB has gradually become a most excellent actor and director. The academy has long become an institution that favors being politically correct as opposed to recognizing artists that break away from the norm and create with style and purpose.
Doyle is completely underappreciated, his score for Hamlet is one of my favourite, and his score for Thor is probably my favourite of the otherwise rather lackluster MCU score compositions in general.
It's the problem with stories that have been adapted too many times - it's sort of regarded as popular media in the same way that comic book superhero movies are.
I did a funeral for a friend who took his own life. His wife chose this so sad song for the service. I fought tears as I listened. It was so beautiful!
i just watched this last night, bought the dvd and i loved it... im not one for remakes, but this was awesome. michelle i thought deserved the oscar for this... i had a feeling she was in on it but not the mastermind.... she is long over due for the academy.... stop giving the award to the same people like meryl streep.... shame the movie didnt get any nominations at all.... stupid academy.... they dont know where greatness lies..... michelle deserves to be recognised finally....love her!!!! her day will come.....
It's a good movie, and stands well on its own merits... but is it the best version? There are glaring plot holes and leaps of logic that are only loosely explained. Why even have Col. Armstrong ask Poirot to take the case? Why was Andrenyi a ballet dancer in this version but still have diplomatic tags on his luggage? But once the denouement happens... I feel it's the best emotionally and the ending is better at explaining Poirot's decision at the end. And my god, when Hubbard's secret was revealed... it's like Michelle Pfeiffer had taken off a mask to reveal someone else entirely different underneath. 1973 version? Better storyline but the ending is a bit of a cop-out. 2010 version? I feel it made some unnecessary changes by removing one character and merging him with another and I feel like the overall darker tone of this version was because it was in the final season of the TV series of movies and so, it was more to give weight to the grand finale that was Curtain.
Wonderful song, each time I'm listening I'm crying. Michelle give all the sadness and the emotion that we can't live without feeling Thankfully The movie is amazing. All the actors are good.
This song perfectly outlined the philosophy that was hidden in the last Poirot words. As other people have aleady said - hauntingly beautiful. Love it.
This movie was brilliant. Stellar acting and ensemble cast, brilliant directing, compelling story at the end with this hauntingly beautiful song sung by Michelle Pfeiffer. What's not to like? Why didn't this movie get the recognition it deserved? Totally underrated!
Hauntingly beautiful, replayed this song like a hundred, about to sleep and will leave it on repeat... literally feeling every emotion listening to this song
Caught the film on TV last night, and this song was one of those where I knew I had to check it out, that it would be one I'd be listening to for years. Great from Pfeiffer!
She's starred in many musicals: GREASE 2, THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS, HAIRSPRAY. And she auditioned for EVITA, which she sounds very much like here. She doesn't have a major voice, but she has a very good one, and when you're as sexy as she is, who cares about the shortcomings? :)
Mia Farrow's voice was used in the theme song of Rosemary's Baby. It was even more emotional the times her voice 'cracked' a tiny bit. Just like that movie, I can recognize the Michelle Pfeifer's voice. Now there will be an update it was neither one singing.
I have seen 4-5 different versions of murder on the orientexpress, and this one was the only one that made me cry, because you really felt the terrible effect the murder of that little girl had on so many People. Bravo to Kenneth Branagh.
When I saw this movie this song touched my heart deeply. I couldn't know that some time later it would speak to me directly. Now that we lost you , everything changed. Come home my sweet angel... we will never forget you RIP :(
The best interpretation of Murder on the Orient Express, ever. The script, the acting, the execution & production are just superb! And this song is just hauntingly soul-wrenching.
A beautiful work of art: excellent expression of the humanity within one of Agatha Christie's best known novels. Art allows us to question our beliefs and grow compassion for others. I was in tears even before the end credits, but I'm so glad I came across this powerful outpouring of love
Just watched the movie and loved it. Loved watching Poirot and Ms Marple. When I heard the song...awwww I know that voice. Love Michelle Pfeiffer’s voice.
Ohhh she has a such beautiful amazing voice I did not expect that I did not know that Michelle has this talent as well. Actually she s one of my favorite actresses since she played her outstanding role with Harisson Ford in their thriller suspens movie!!
Dammit. Dammitt. Dammitt. Dammitt. I'm fifty(-one) years old. I'm a grumpy old man. A curmudgeon. A cynical, hard-hearted Navy veteran. Worst of all, I'm a game master- someone who engineers narrative pain for my own enjoyment. I should NOT be bawling my eyes out over this. This was an "extra"- an Easter egg from Kenneth Branagh's Murder On The Orient Express. A grandmother's prayer for her lost (murdered) grandbaby. Dammit.
You should check out grease 2, the fabulous baker boys (especially) she was nominated for a Oscar for that role and hairspray and prince of Egypt - she sings in all those films
This song should have been nominated for an Oscar for 'Best Song'. Sadly, it was not recognized. I thought the song conveyed the motivations for the central point of the story.
I'm shocked and astounded to find Michelle Pfeiffer singing any song. Watching the credits while channel surfing without sitting thru the movie and hearing the voice reminded me of Madonna's voice in her early years.
F Dryer she actually sang a demo version of “I’d Be Surprisingly Good for You” from Evita and I think her vocals are even better than Madonna’s. I don’t think Madonna is much of a singer despite her extremely successful career. Michelle’s demo version won’t sound as good as Madonna’s studio version bc they are pure vocals. Madonna’s studio version of the sound has some tuning enhancement and many echo effects (like Michelle song for Never Forget). So if you look up Michelle’s demo on TH-cam you will have to imagine what it sounds like with the effects.
This movie is one of the most underrated movies. Also the song. This song is touching and moving. It was unspeakable sadness and pain that brought them together. Sad.
The lyrics - by Kenneth Branagh - the film is his project and the song so lovely Please Will you come home? Will you stay with me? Say you'll laugh, say you'll understand Say you'll dance with me Say you'll smile that silly smile for me Say you'll hold me in your arms so sweet Will you come home? Will you come home to me? Home, my love We will never forget you You will never leave In our hearts we kept you We'll be safe You'll remember all the days of summer sun Hold me close in dark November Before the winter comes Tell me all the things you wish for Tell me all that you would want to live for When you come home, when you come home to me Home, my love All the days of sorrow will vanish in tomorrow You can count on me, my love To be here We will all be ready, love and kindness steady We will never forget you You are home, my love
Incredibly sad lyrics, and beautifully sung. The film too is underrated. You feel the tragedy and it's effect on the characters far more than the 74' version .
The emotion is overwhelming when you realise that all these people are drawn together through great suffering. The music is so moving it brings it to life.

This is one of the most beautiful songs ever when you realize who and why she is singing this song
The fact that Michelle is singing, to me, makes this song even more emotional because I can easily imagine that it's her character singing and it's just beautiful. Sad, of course, but beautiful.
Linda Carmignani And what “Never Forget” REALLY bittersweetly means when you dissect it. You came to the same conclusion as I.

The end credit song is the only good thing about that movie lol.
I remember watching this in the cinema. People started to leave as the credits began to roll, then Michelle Pfiefer started to sing and people came back in and sat down to hear it. There were many tears, mine included. This should have been nominated for an award and sung live. Such a beautiful, soul touching melody ❤
Agree! If it was nominated, it would have been awesome to see Michelle singing it live.
The scene, the song and Michelle Pfeiffer's performance are indisputably overwhelming. The chest tightens and tears fall without asking for permission. It's a mix of emotions! From the bottom of my heart, I can only say, thank you so much for presenting us with such beauty!

You aptly described the song

By far most underated movie of the year
il meglio del cinema True that.
il meglio del cinema So true!
This movie isn‘t that underrated but it was one of the best i‘ve ever seen
This movie is so excellent!!!
OF ALL TIME
Everything about this movie and song is underrated
It’s crazy when you realize what this song REALLY means considering the connections.
For her scene near the end, "These are good people!" she should have had an Oscar nomination.
@@williamorr9449 Absolutely, and for some reason the second time I watched it out of theaters, I realized she was the actress mentioned from the aging makeup.
Exactamente!!!
too bad the second movie has no this kind of song
Kenneth Brannagh is brilliant. The most underrated movie. Michelle Pfeiffer sing like an angel.
OHHHHH THIS IS THE SONG ON THE ENDING CREDITS!! THIS WAS HAUNTINGLY BEAUTIFUL.
Zeus Flores :::♥:::
Omgoodness this made me cry 😢
I love this song so much..tear jerkeringly awesome 🐸🐸🐸

Well said.
the movie should have been in the oscar nominations.... beautiful
Wonderful song ,lovely voice.

Most impressed by Michelle Pfeiffer in this film. Still so beautiful and can sing like an angel.
Wonderful song, each time I'm listening I'm crying. Michelle give all the sadness and the emotion that we can't live without feeling
Thankfully
The movie is amazing. All the actors are good.
This song perfectly outlined the philosophy that was hidden in the last Poirot words.
As other people have aleady said - hauntingly beautiful. Love it.
i love Miss Pfeiffer's voice ... is so warm, sad, ... really lovely
She has an amazing voice
Indeed, she also did Hairspray and Grease 2 she's a great singer in the films
Don’t forget The Fabulous Baker Boys. My fav song in that is More Than You Know
The saddest song ever , absolutely heartbreaking but wonderful
This movie was brilliant. Stellar acting and ensemble cast, brilliant directing, compelling story at the end with this hauntingly beautiful song sung by Michelle Pfeiffer. What's not to like? Why didn't this movie get the recognition it deserved? Totally underrated!

A beautiful voice for a beautiful song! Thank you very much miss Pfeiffer!
Caught the film on TV last night, and this song was one of those where I knew I had to check it out, that it would be one I'd be listening to for years. Great from Pfeiffer!
Came here to check movie soundtrack...
Michelle Pfeiffer is singing? ... who would think...
Well performed, beautiful voice and great song.
AresXtremE Nemesis I say so too.

Jerome Joseph Gentes she's so beautiful & talented actor of all time....she is😘😘😘

If you haven't seen The Fabulous Baker Boys, Michelle is showcased beautifully, not only how sensual she is but her voice as well.
This is outstanding! This actually made me cry
Can relate...the words were so lovely and fitting ...in my life..ty fate for delivering this gift to me out of the blue...
I have seen 4-5 different versions of murder on the orientexpress, and this one was the only one that made me cry, because you really felt the terrible effect the murder of that little girl had on so many People.
Bravo to Kenneth Branagh.
I just saw this movie and the part where they show the murder is so powerful.
When I saw this movie this song touched my heart deeply. I couldn't know that some time later it would speak to me directly. Now that we lost you , everything changed. Come home my sweet angel... we will never forget you RIP :(
Love this song by Michelle pfeiffer
Only just found this song, what an absolute magnificent song it is, full of sad longing. It is such a beautiful song.
The best interpretation of Murder on the Orient Express, ever. The script, the acting, the execution & production are just superb! And this song is just hauntingly soul-wrenching.
ya... this is a wonderful song by Kenneth Branagh and splendid performance by Michelle Pfeiffer...RESPECT for both great artists... :-)
She has a beautiful voice and she was wonderful in this movie. Very moving performance from her.

One of the beautiful touching songs I have ever heard.
One of the best films of the year
worst*
Rayhan Rajendrs you bet it is!
And it's a remake
Nicholas Borg I’ve just finished watching it this moment, and I can’t believe how disappointing it was !
Is it? I've read the book but I haven´t seen this version
The magic of Pfeiffer!
Dammit.
Dammitt.

It’s chilling when you really understand “we will never forget you, you will never leave, in our hearts we’ve kept you…”
Perfect song, such a shame this deserved way more views.Never would've guessed it was Michelle singing had I not seen the name in the credits.
I liked the first version so much, but I have to say that she killed it. I was impressed with Pfeiffer...
this song is excellent and beautiful
this song made the movie even more amazing
Should have been nominated for the oscar best Original song and deserved to win it...
~ a masterpiece from beginning to end ~

I have just watched this movie, excellent, love this song, hauntingly beautiful
fantastic voice ... and the piano play ... wowwwwwwwww
I can't believe it's been a whole year since I committed on this beautiful and also sad tune. Thank you beautiful Michelle ❤

Beautiful movie and beautiful song to remember...
Never Forget . . . The Fabulous Baker Boys and Michelle's "Makin' Whoopee". Absolutely Fabulous!
wow I was so surprised by this song when it started to play at the end of the movie. Great performance
This movie is one of the most underrated movies. Also the song. This song is touching and moving. It was unspeakable sadness and pain that brought them together. Sad.
Her singing has gone from good to fantastic
Always was fantastic to me especially the fabulous baker boys
On repeat! What a beautiful voice and song also love the movie make wanted to read Agatha Christie's novels
2 years later and this song still gets me right in the feels.
I love this song and Michelle is a very good singer.
Wow. Так просто и так глубоко. Замечательная песня. Прекрасные слова. Я плачу...
The lyrics - by Kenneth Branagh - the film is his project and the song so lovely
Please
Will you come home? Will you stay with me?
Say you'll laugh, say you'll understand
Say you'll dance with me
Say you'll smile that silly smile for me
Say you'll hold me in your arms so sweet
Will you come home? Will you come home to me?
Home, my love
We will never forget you
You will never leave
In our hearts we kept you
We'll be safe
You'll remember all the days of summer sun
Hold me close in dark November
Before the winter comes
Tell me all the things you wish for
Tell me all that you would want to live for
When you come home, when you come home to me
Home, my love
All the days of sorrow will vanish in tomorrow
You can count on me, my love
To be here
We will all be ready, love and kindness steady
We will never forget you
You are home, my love
It's Branagh so Patrick Doyle probably composed the melody too.
Such a sad song for the loss of a child
A true love song, captures what love is about, the sillyness, the warm, Michelle is incredible and has such delegate voice so beautiful ❤️
This song makes me crying because of love and sadness at the same time
So sad. That voice is divine.
Great song greater michelle pfeiffer......academy award
Great movie and the ending song stays with you.
Incredibly sad lyrics, and beautifully sung. The film too is underrated. You feel the tragedy and it's effect on the characters far more than the 74' version .
This feeling. A wonderful film 😭😭😭
Beautiful ❤️
This song is so beautiful🖤
THIS IS POETIC CINEMA!
Beautiful!!!!!
This makes me find the kids and hug them
I always cry when I hear it ,great job Michel :( 💕
if the platonic love does exist at all, Michelle can undoubtedly be its object, ...yes it's true
Потрясающе красиво. Мелодия вроде бы простая, но завораживает
Hauntingly beautiful
Never knew she could sing..... I absolutely love this.
The locomotive and three carriages are preserved at Bassenthwaite Lake station In Cumbria
Some of the scenes like the train in the beginning and end to me are beautiful 😍.
Such a powerful song..I play it win I want to cry an think of days long gone by😢
This film was the best one that came out in the winter of 2017 for me.
I had basically disregarded Agatha Christie material before watching it, glad I caught it at the cinema.
Just love this song .
merveilleux film et chanson
I would like to watch this movie just because of this song. Why an actress can sing like professional ones?
It’s justice. They did the right thing.
I believe so as well
I totally agree
No, I dont think so'
so is johnny depp is really guilty??
Yes, in the fictive cosmos of this movie. In reality? I don't know.
I always cry with this song . I really miss so much my late son.
Beautiful
Just rewatched the movie... this song makes me cry...
So beautiful 😻😭❤️
