- Lost Ark Europe - Kadan server. As before, I do play with Deathblade on the EU server. This run was right after I reached the required iLvl for Velganos (Belganus). I have to tell, the Blade is still broken in experienced hands, as any other class.

I just did this today too. 1390 Deathblade here. Our builds are different but you are silky smooth. I was not (yet). Very nice video. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is not using Maelstorm.
If u are playing with surge u don't need maelstrom but it's a must have with remaining energy
@@sofianebouchelaghem662 Yes it is completely understandable to have with remaining energy. And I found it absolutely nonsense using it with surge. Yet many people just checks a guide or youtube video and following it blindly. Instead of thinking through thinks for one second.
Most kr guides have maelstrom because it is necessary in legions where you have to play for a 12-14 stack surge, then maelstrom+void strike to fill up again. But for velganos im going to try moonlight because it looks pretty useful here

Holy shit No pot - 5:34 clear. Super nice man keep it up. My record atm is 6:26 with 4 pots. I will try out sonic instead of maelstrom to see if I like it or not too.
Edit: 4:45 clear with 2 blue pots currently.
One trick you can do is to use wind cut right before using arts skill, you will get 2 or 3 stacks cause it still lingers and arts will reset its cooldown so you can use it again almost right away.
wow man really nice run. can't believe how great the dmg diff is between your db and mine, both 1385 with around the same amount of spec but i'm running adrenaline + ambush master instead of grudge + ambush master. haven't managed to clear velganos yet D: just gotta keep trying and get better
if u run adrenaline u gotta run keen blunt with it or grudge is just gonna be alot better
Update: I managed to finally solo it. Just took some more practice learning to play my DB. 4x3 eng surge,spirit absorp,ambush master & adrenaline. 1300spec + 400 crit. 1385 ilvl. best time so far is 10minutes :D thanks for the inspiration
@@RonyIsCool 100% get rid if spirit Absorption. There are allot better engravings and you dont need attack/movement speed
Yeah, dont avoid grudge, learn to play with it, groups will start declining you soon as game is getting more hardcore with legion raids
thanks guys. i definitely plan on changing my setup for the better, like switching spirit absorp with cursed doll or grudge. this build was really cheap to make as surge+spirit accessories hardly cost anything and 3x3 engravings apparently is enough for the upcoming legion raid, so u can look at my spirit absorption as just a nice extra to have. Once I start gearing with relic gear, I will definitely aim for the true endgame builds, and wont shy away from spending my gold on it
that was really good... i hope i can be like that... im also a surge DB main... but im playing from australia... i got 240ms ping at NA server... , it's really hard to move like you did and dodge the attack... sometimes even when im already out of the boss attack range in my screen but somehow my character was pulled back and it hit me... , btw it's good video... :)

Crazy to see the dmg differences of classes. Playing a shock scrapper, my first solo kill on him on same itemlevel took me 16 minutes.
Those 13 million hits are really hard to take balance wise xD

Yeah same, I'm the same ilvl as a Striker and i'm far from hitting this hard
It is risky to play surge, it takes time to learn the rotations, that is the result of the 20 staks
i play surge db and i can tell you it's not as easy as he makes it look. it's very hard to manage the stacks and mechanics. From the looks of it he just has that boss's rotation memorized so he's dealing maximum dmg
@@davidhickey8613 yes, but Blade has the potential to deal this damage. Scrapper does not, while my animations are waaaaay slower and i have also less mobility.
1404 now. Last solo kill still took me 10 minutes.
@@sandmaennchen1102 that sounds about right. 10 min is probably pretty good for a scrapper. I think the only way to get more is put on a shield rune and get tripod with superarmor and trade hits during some of these mechanics instead of dodging like all the tail swipes.

I tried this today few times with my 1400 RE deathblade. I max can do 20% damage to this boss. I am trying to learn patterns but this boss kills me from outside of screen with his jump forward so many times... and when I focus on doging his shit I just dont really deal any damage, not enough windows to do so...
Videos like these encourage me to do the guardian raids solo. But then I remember that I main a bard ...
Guess its time to find a new party for my daily velganos.

@@nmgeek8748 i know its possible as bard. But bard is still the worst class to do it solo on. Even paladin has much higher dmg baseline then we do. You need pretty good engravings or a high weapon to deal enough dmg.
I am currently 1387 with a 1390 weapon and I can barely kill it.
I did a few runs because I do want to solo him. But so far my record has been 15% hp left.
It is possible but just not worth the investment into engravings and gear that does nothing. Cause dps bard sucks.
this guy is a beasst didnt even use pot potion , may i ask my currently engraving is grude 3, cursed doll 3 and surge 3 , planning in 1400 gnna try to get 4 engraving level 3 should i change? the cursed doll into supercharge and geth the 4th ambush master?

Thanks man! Well, since the most potential source of your damage is your identity skill, you have to use those sort of engravings which empower that one. Since the supercharge doesn't apply to that skill, I really do not recommend. But the "Ambush Master", what gives 25% extra damage with no negative effects for all the back attacks...yea, that's a smashing one. :)

How is it his skills hit so hard? he is 16k atk power and he does 2x more damage than my 21k deathblade, I mean skills like Blitz Rush, Soul Absorber and my Tripods are lvl 3 oO
I also have Ambush master, the only difference I see is Grudge that I don't have. Does that single engraving make the difference? Or Surge increase power so much more than RE?
grudge is the difference. I just hit 1445 db and i do about 1 or 2 mil more surge damage than him and he is only 1385 in this video. my engravings are surge, super charge, adrenaline and ambush master. once i make my 5x3 i am getting grudge.
I'm planning to go Grudge 3, Surge 3, Ambush Master 3, and also Adrenaline 3. It'll take a lot of gold and time. Do you suggest I just do Grudge 3, Surge 3, and Ambush Master 3 for now?
Dont go surge 3, go adrenaline 3 instead and surge 1

Tested both engravings in trixion.
The damage is super close to adrenaline n grudge.
Super cheap to build too.

Im 1393 and my ult crits barely top 3million on Velganos
Surge at 20 stack + back attack + 3x3 dps engravings + min 3 light orbs from Velganos
@@Xalfe I assume each light orb from Velganos will reward you with 10% damage, I play surge with 3x3 dps engravings and I was dealing around 10 mil surge damage without light orbs
@@fraudnaldo3873 Might be true. I play surge too with 3-3-2-2 engravings, with 3 light orbs 13-14m crits. (+8 weapon so my attack power is lower than usual for ilevel speedrun)
There is no trick to it Death Blade class and Berzeker are just Broken atm I'm main Scrapper and I have surge +3 and my max hit is 11m so yeah DB and Zerk needs a damn NERF ASAP u gonna think that is cuse I low GS well my GS is 1445 +20 weapon
@@martinramirez4433 yeah if you hit your surge with a crit, Death Blade surge is a high risk high reward meta, RE is actually more consistent, if you hit a surge and it doesn't crit then it will ruin your DPS. As for Berserker, it's clear as day it's broken, Death Blade surge is a bit broken but that's about it, meanwhile everything about Berserker is practically broken.

Grudge + ambush M + backattack + 20 stacks + good surge gem min lvl 4 i would say
curious why you dont use maelstorm? do you always go for 20 stacks? mid stack is better, it offers more dps, more up time of your surge skill because with 14 stacks you can get 3 orbs with 1 void strike then activate death trance again then build up stack until 14 stacks then surge then 1 void strike then activate death trance. really broken rotation especially in high end tier game
U should always go for 20 stacks if ur situations allows it.
14 stacks is because most bosses are pretty random and unpredictable eg: jumps away or gimmicks around causing u to miss ur stacks.
In solo-ing bosses like veganos. He's not gonna do much to make u miss ur stacks cause the boss will always be on you. So 20 stacks is better if ure solo-ing a boss
@@sc9433 yeah 20 stacks is not ideal for endgame content. Bosses jumps around and teleports around too much. You are likely to miss your attack window.
My main sorc cant solo it but scrapper alt does 😭

because he's using the "Surge " class engraving, basically when he use "death trance mode" (i think this is the name) every time his skills hit enemies he gain stacks (max 20) and when he uses de Surge skill the orbs will be filled based on the number os stacks (5% each stack)

Not endgame contents raids
Guaridan raids are more like daily activity and not real end game, but this specific guaridan is prety hard to do in group or solo hence the video.

there is no way this is sustainable kill. must be a 30 try or something to get this video. Boss moves are soo quick and random, I cant even stay alive if I just running around it without dpsing. But that not change the fact it was a sick run.
he's very clean, you can see he does the right skills att the right time since he knows the boss animations, he does however get very lucky boss patterns. But mostly it's the player here that creates the run rather then the game.
Seeing hoe smooth he did first pizza he probably played ru or kr before.

This class looks for me like cheating in game or playing lostark in easy mode.
Im playing shock scrapper/crapper.
DB is one of the Hardeest class to play respect the man skill unstead of calling the class " easy mode"
@@sofianebouchelaghem662 haha ok bro. than go play shock scrapper, every skill is slow AF and the range is short AF too, 100x less dmg and 2 year cooldown on skills. and you cant jump behind boss with a skill, lol. i think DB is on of the easiest class, when i compare with shock scrapper. without Spirit Absorption lvl 3, your lost. this means, even less dmg with shock crapper
Dont get mad at db dmg. She is getting a massive nerf with the next balance Patch, while scrapper is getting a nice buff. I also Main shock scrapper.
Also wait till we get relic set and have 1700 spec. It will balance out then.
