I did a 7 day fast and felt everything in this video. The information is accurate. Only thing I did different was use black coffee, magnesium, potassium, and Himalayan pink salt to keep my mineral intake up. I had a great experience as I felt restored. I've fasted with water many times over the last 50 years or so. Kudos for reaching 15 days; that's impressive and a little scary. The best water fasting cycle I've found is to fast for 3 days, rest 4 days, repeat no more than three cycles. Although this has helped me control my weight over the years, it also increases my alertness and has endorphin payoffs that are a welcome benefit. Note that there is always a crisis time when you're starting a cycle that you feel on edge. If you can ride through it, the rest will unfold more gracefully. Tip: Try to learn to "enjoy" the feeling of an empty stomach. It can be exhilarating.
Wow thank you for sharing this because this is exactly the plan I created for myself this month. Fast every Monday thru Wednesday or 72 hrs…then rest for 4 days. I started Sunday night and halfway through my first 72 hour fast now. I believe I will make it through!! 🙏🏾
I just can't fast. My family just won't allow me to water fast. They keep coming back to feed me. 🙄 My parents keep blackmailing me if I don't eat food, they will stay hungry too..
I did 3 days (72 hours) a while back. It's invigorating to realize that you're capable of getting through it, and actually come out better on the other side. I highly recommend this practice. It will only make you stronger and more resilient.
I have done in 2021 a 12-day, on May '22 a 10-day, and now Dec 22 again a 10-day water diet, and overall saw the great benefits of feeling much better and looking younger. I've committed myself to do it 2x a year. I am convinced about the longevity and overall health properties, especially when I combine this form of this diet with daily intermittent fasting.

My first fast wasn't a very planned out at least in the beginning. About 3 or 4 days after I heard about fasting and the benefits of it, I started a fast thinking I'll try for 3-4 days maybe a week. After about the fourth day and the hunger had mostly gone away, I thought no problem I'll go for a week. As the week progressed, I felt better and better, and was looking at more and more information about fasting and started formulating a plan. I decided to continue on for 40 days, then refeed for 15 days and do another 30 day fast. I bought a new pair of pants and a shirt that were several sizes to small for me, and ask my wife to wrap them up and put them under the Christmas tree in 3 months. After completing the 40-day fast the 15-day refeed and then the 30-day fast, that Christmas I put on the new clothes that fit great. As a bonus, My Health was probably better than it has ever been in my life.

@@morticiahno obviously water fasting will help with weight loss but the thing is it should be used as a jumpstart for weight loss so that once you’re done with your fast you can re feed and begin to eat healthier to keep the weight off and even lose more. Out of all the comments this seemed like the one that made more sense. I was thinking the same thing. Simply jumping into a water fast cold turkey especially if you consume large amounts of food on the regular just doesn't seem right. Like you said, I think it would be good to start first on like a 1-day water fast...then 2 (a whole weekend for example) see how your body reacts to the 'shock' you're putting it through and just continue from there.

I'm 6ft *184cm* I was 270 lbs *120kg* I dropped to 170 lbs *78kg* in 8 months. Then regained 8 lbs *3kg* thinking I was too underweight. It was mostly done following a water diet. Water diets are super effective seriously.
Yeah, this format was not credible; we don't get a glimpse of who is talking about their fasting experience. Having said that, this information is 100% accurate based on MY many fasting sessions!! In my 30's, I fasted every six months(I'm pushing 60). My first fast was three days long, and my longest fast was 30! My average fasts were 14 days. I was very, very sick the first two or three attempts: nausea and vomiting, severe weakness, headaches, and a HORRID odor coming from who-know-where😫. I attribute the discomfort to the housecleaning effect of the fast: when the cells and organs have nothing to do, they clean house!! All in all, I consider my fasting experiences to be one of the most important things I'd done for my health, ever. I never looked or felt so healthy, beautiful and clear-headed.

4 years ago I weighed 292 pounds. I did a juice fast. I made all my juices from vegetables and fruits, I didn't buy ready made juice. I did it for 30 days and lost 33 pounds in that 30 days. I eased back into eating slowly and kept losing. After 2 years I got down to 170. Definitely worth it.
Was always a big soda drinker, I was drinking over a 2 liter a day for over 10 years. I’m currently 25 and I can just feel my body feeling Ill. I decided two weeks ago that I’m only going to just drink water and what a difference!!! My sleep is better, my skin is more radiant, the bags under my eyes are reduced. I know right. You can tell they don't actually do the physical part themselves. I've water fast for 28 days. First of all, if you never water fasted before and didn't prepare at least 2 weeks in advance, you will get a headache the very first day........not day 3. And when I say a headache, I mean a HEADACHE. The worse you'll probably experience. second it's true that you get a boost of energy, or at least feel like it, but it doesn't last for 14 days like the video said. it'll last for about day 3-6. After that be prepared to be sluggish for the rest of your fasting journey. All you want to do is lay down all day. even if you wanted to exercise.......YOU WON'T. All you'll want to do is just lay down and contemplate why the heck are you doing this. As for the clarity, you do experience some form of clarity but that's early on like day 3-5. After that it's just back to being tired and weak. These guys didn't actually do the water fast. Just copied some facts from wikipedia and made it into a video. Although I do like that they are spreading awareness of water fasting because it does help your body get rid of toxins.

I decided to do a colon cleanse (basically a Colonoscopy prep) and as I was finishing that up, I learned about the benefits of a 12 water only fast. I figured I already had 1/2 a day invested in fasting so I'm on board. I just rolled into day 2 this morning and lost 5lbs so far. Not sure I can make 20 days on the first attempt, but I'm committed to doing at least the 12 days. Just bought a juicer as well once I get re feeding again. I'm a 62yr old heavy set male looking to get healthier while I still have some runway left!
@@TommyGuy1111 I did the 12 day fast and lost about 30 lbs. After refeeding, I put about 10lbs back on. So, I netted about a 20 lb sustainable weight loss. To avoid headaches during the fast, it's recommended to do a couple of pinches a day of Pink Himalayan salt. I've done 2 more 5 day fasts since then. I lost 100lbs in the past 12 months by daily walking a few miles a day, and eating less. Anyone can do it. You just have to be disciplined and committed.
I did a water only fast for 21 days lost 45 lbs and started a whole food SOS diet. I’ve never felt better and I look healthier at 37 years old then I did in high school!

@@moonbeam6420 It works well for me. I completed one week only, but the weight has been considerably reduced and felt much better. It's not about your body only, the main thing is the mind battle, you should have strong will to make this happen.
Its hard when you have to prepare meals for the family. If you water fast you must take a multivitamin in the morning. If you can get pass day 3 then you can make it. Challenge yourself to do a 7 day fast. If you make it then extend the days. Good luck
@@kellymiller1121ify I have to take 1 vitamin because I'm anemic otherwise I'll feel faint. I will feel sick for a few minutes but afterwards I'm fine. Some people don't need a vitamin during the water fast

don't forget to use fasting salts: especially sodium, potassium and magnesium need to be added to your intake of water; neglecting this is a HUGE mistake and this video doesn't seem to mention it
On the 8th day of one of my fasts I awoke in the morning to the most amazing feeling ever. I can't recreate it on other fasts but do feel day 8 is the sweetspot for when the mind does positive things.
Best thing about fasting isn't the weight loss but the fact you remove all the cravings of food. I've done multiple fasts and a week or two after, I still didn't crave for chocolate, greasy food, or any food for that matter. I didn't crave big juicy steaks or cheesy stuff, I only ate whatever I could get for cheap, to hit protein macros, that'll all. Plus your stomach shrinks so you get full quicker.
I’ve done a 24 day fast and it was super uneventful. I still went to work, still went to the gym, I do staiasrer and lift heavy, 45 mins cardio and lift usually 1 hour and I felt great the entire time. The first theee days were the worst but I did not have trouble sleeping. The only reason I stopped the fast was bc the taste of water made me gag, I could no longer stand to drink water which would make it difficult to continue a water fast. Unfortunately I gained back even more weight. The thing with fasting is only do it if you plan on completely changing your lifestyle permanently if you’re fasting for weight loss. The mental clarity, the levels of energy was the best part. I plan to try a 40-45 day fast and I am planning to use the liquid chlorophyll mint flavor and electrolyte packs to put in my water so it’s not so plain and I can push through. Great video
I did a water fast last year for 21 days. I lost a lot of weight and my skin was a lot brighter and youthful. My senses were heightened during and after the fast. Make no mistake though, it’s not for the faint of heart. It was a fun journey.

I'm currently on day 9 of what was supposed to be a 7 day fast. I extended it to 10 days but really would like to go for at least 14 or 15. It gets hard at times but what motivates me is the thought that when I do finally break my fast it's not like I can break it with the burger and fries that I'm craving lol. I’m on day 11 fasting. I sweated so much the first 5 days, I felt like I was detoxing big time. Sweating stopped day 6 and acne is gone, my skin is so soft, I haven’t been putting creams on it. By day 9 my pain has gone from a 10 to a 3. I feel better mentally. Lost 10kgs. Looking forward to the results from the next 9 days.

I feel good. Rejuvenated. I can still go for walks and do my regular schedule. Sometimes if I stand up too quickly I get a little dizzy but nothing too crazy

I'm currently on day 2 of 20. I have never done one longer than 11 before, but I'm gonna try. I used to do 3-5 day mini fasts a few years ago and it was a game changer. My skin improved and I lost some extra weight. It works for me, but you have to do it properly and not over-exert yourself. It's a sensitive task, but it can be beneficial if you research before starting. Just make sure you keep up your electrolytes with minerals to avoid weakness.
I got up to 15 days, in the first about 3 days it felt pretty weird not eating anything but after that I notice that my chest got slimmer and arms, I lost 9 kgs from just drinking water for 15 days wow

I did a 7 day fast and felt everything in this video. The information is accurate. Only thing I did different was use black coffee, magnesium, potassium, and Himalayan pink salt to keep my mineral intake up. I had a great experience as I felt restored. I’m glad you put in to break the fast with veggies and lighter food. This is huge! Great job and keep us informed on anything else with fasting you do!

I've fasted with water many times over the last 50 years or so. Kudos for reaching 15 days; that's impressive and a little scary. The best water fasting cycle I've found is to fast for 3 days, rest 4 days, repeat no more than three cycles. Although this has helped me control my weight over the years, it also increases my alertness and has endorphin payoffs that are a welcome benefit. Note that there is always a crisis time when you're starting a cycle that you feel on edge. If you can ride through it, the rest will unfold more gracefully. Tip: Try to learn to "enjoy" the feeling of an empty stomach. It can be exhilarating.

I did 3 days (72 hours) a while back. It's invigorating to realize that you're capable of getting through it, and actually come out better on the other side. I highly recommend this practice. It will only make you stronger and more resilient.

I have done in 2021 a 12-day, on May '22 a 10-day, and now Dec 22 again a 10-day water diet, and overall saw the great benefits of feeling much better and looking younger. I've committed myself to do it 2x a year. I am convinced about the longevity and overall health properties, especially when I combine this form of this diet with daily intermittent fasting.

My first fast wasn't a very planned out at least in the beginning. About 3 or 4 days after I heard about fasting and the benefits of it, I started a fast thinking I'll try for 3-4 days maybe a week. After about the fourth day and the hunger had mostly gone away, I thought no problem I'll go for a week. As the week progressed, I felt better and better, and was looking at more and more information about fasting and started formulating a plan. I decided to continue on for 40 days, then refeed for 15 days and do another 30 day fast. I bought a new pair of pants and a shirt that were several sizes to small for me, and ask my wife to wrap them up and put them under the Christmas tree in 3 months. After completing the 40-day fast the 15-day refeed and then the 30-day fast, that Christmas I put on the new clothes that fit great. As a bonus, My Health was probably better than it has ever been in my life.

@@morticiahno obviously water fasting will help with weight loss but the thing is it should be used as a jumpstart for weight loss so that once you’re done with your fast you can re feed and begin to eat healthier to keep the weight off and even lose more. On my 22nd day of my 6th extended fast. I’m 30, I bodybuild and I feel amazing after a fast. I build more lean muscle within 2 months after fasting than I do the rest of the year. It’s actually pretty wild how much the surge in HGH helps
It is dangerous to jump straight to a 20 day fast. You should start with several 24hr fasts first and then build your way up, 3 day then 7 days etc.
Out of all the comments this seemed like the one that made more sense. I was thinking the same thing. Simply jumping into a water fast cold turkey especially if you consume large amounts of food on the regular just doesn't seem right. Like you said, I think it would be good to start first on like a 1-day water fast...then 2 (a whole weekend for example) see how your body reacts to the 'shock' you're putting it through and just continue from there.

Yeah, this format was not credible; we don't get a glimpse of who is talking about their fasting experience. Having said that, this information is 100% accurate based on MY many fasting sessions!! In my 30's, I fasted every six months(I'm pushing 60). My first fast was three days long, and my longest fast was 30! My average fasts were 14 days. I was very, very sick the first two or three attempts: nausea and vomiting, severe weakness, headaches, and a HORRID odor coming from who-know-where😫. I attribute the discomfort to the housecleaning effect of the fast: when the cells and organs have nothing to do, they clean house!! All in all, I consider my fasting experiences to be one of the most important things I'd done for my health, ever. I never looked or felt so healthy, beautiful and clear-headed.

4 years ago I weighed 292 pounds. I did a juice fast. I made all my juices from vegetables and fruits, I didn't buy ready made juice. I did it for 30 days and lost 33 pounds in that 30 days. I eased back into eating slowly and kept losing. After 2 years I got down to 170. Definitely worth it.

Was always a big soda drinker, I was drinking over a 2 liter a day for over 10 years. I’m currently 25 and I can just feel my body feeling Ill. I decided two weeks ago that I’m only going to just drink water and what a difference!!!
My sleep is better, my skin is more radiant, the bags under my eyes are reduced. The blackheads on my face are disappearing better then any face wash I’ve ever used. I’m completely amazed at how much different I feel and look.
Suggest drinking only glass bottled water like "The Mountain Valley Spring Water" that filtered sewer water in bottles is pretty much poison IMO.

I know right. You can tell they don't actually do the physical part themselves. I've water fast for 28 days. First of all, if you never water fasted before and didn't prepare at least 2 weeks in advance, you will get a headache the very first day........not day 3. And when I say a headache, I mean a HEADACHE. The worse you'll probably experience. second it's true that you get a boost of energy, or at least feel like it, but it doesn't last for 14 days like the video said. it'll last for about day 3-6. After that be prepared to be sluggish for the rest of your fasting journey. All you want to do is lay down all day. even if you wanted to exercise.......YOU WON'T. All you'll want to do is just lay down and contemplate why the heck are you doing this. As for the clarity, you do experience some form of clarity but that's early on like day 3-5. After that it's just back to being tired and weak. These guys didn't actually do the water fast. Just copied some facts from wikipedia and made it into a video. Although I do like that they are spreading awareness of water fasting because it does help your body get rid of toxins.

I decided to do a colon cleanse (basically a Colonoscopy prep) and as I was finishing that up, I learned about the benefits of a 12 water only fast. I figured I already had 1/2 a day invested in fasting so I'm on board. I just rolled into day 2 this morning and lost 5lbs so far. Not sure I can make 20 days on the first attempt, but I'm committed to doing at least the 12 days. Just bought a juicer as well once I get re feeding again. @@TommyGuy1111 I did the 12 day fast and lost about 30 lbs. After refeeding, I put about 10lbs back on. So, I netted about a 20 lb sustainable weight loss. To avoid headaches during the fast, it's recommended to do a couple of pinches a day of Pink Himalayan salt. I've done 2 more 5 day fasts since then. I lost 100lbs in the past 12 months by daily walking a few miles a day, and eating less. Anyone can do it. You just have to be disciplined and committed.

Its hard when you have to prepare meals for the family. If you water fast you must take a multivitamin in the morning. If you can get pass day 3 then you can make it. Challenge yourself to do a 7 day fast. If you make it then extend the days. Good luck

@@kellymiller1121ify I have to take 1 vitamin because I'm anemic otherwise I'll feel faint. I will feel sick for a few minutes but afterwards I'm fine. Some people don't need a vitamin during the water fast
@@ChrisandTyCox I cannot take vitamins on an empty stomach. My stomach gets upset and it takes a long time to pass. Not for me.
This is not advisable for people who have hard physical work and have to go to work every day. That's what I think.

I agree, I was like I do cardio excercise at least 1 hr then weight lifting, I would actually faint due to lack of energy..So, nope for me...I always drink a lot of water anyway...

don't forget to use fasting salts: especially sodium, potassium and magnesium need to be added to your intake of water; neglecting this is a HUGE mistake and this video doesn't seem to mention it
On the 8th day of one of my fasts I awoke in the morning to the most amazing feeling ever. I can't recreate it on other fasts but do feel day 8 is the sweetspot for when the mind does positive things.

Best thing about fasting isn't the weight loss but the fact you remove all the cravings of food. I've done multiple fasts and a week or two after, I still didn't crave for chocolate, greasy food, or any food for that matter.
I didn't crave big juicy steaks or cheesy stuff, I only ate whatever I could get for cheap, to hit protein macros, that'll all. Plus your stomach shrinks so you get full quicker.

I’ve done a 24 day fast and it was super uneventful. I still went to work, still went to the gym, I do staiasrer and lift heavy, 45 mins cardio and lift usually 1 hour and I felt great the entire time. The first theee days were the worst but I did not have trouble sleeping. The only reason I stopped the fast was bc the taste of water made me gag, I could no longer stand to drink water which would make it difficult to continue a water fast. Unfortunately I gained back even more weight. The thing with fasting is only do it if you plan on completely changing your lifestyle permanently if you’re fasting for weight loss. The mental clarity, the levels of energy was the best part. I plan to try a 40-45 day fast and I am planning to use the liquid chlorophyll mint flavor and electrolyte packs to put in my water so it’s not so plain and I can push through. Great video
I did a water fast last year for 21 days. I lost a lot of weight and my skin was a lot brighter and youthful. My senses were heightened during and after the fast. Make no mistake though, it’s not for the faint of heart. It was a fun journey.

I'm currently on day 9 of what was supposed to be a 7 day fast. I extended it to 10 days but really would like to go for at least 14 or 15. It gets hard at times but what motivates me is the thought that when I do finally break my fast it's not like I can break it with the burger and fries that I'm craving lol. So honestly I'm just like f*** it. If I cant eat what I actually want I might as well keep fasting 😂

I know the feeling. I finished my 4th 4 day water fast a month ago and now I’m starting a 10 day but I hope I can turn it into a 14 day. My last fast I sensed I could go much longer.

We are blessed. There are some who have no choice but to go without food.
I’m on day 11 fasting. I sweated so much the first 5 days, I felt like I was detoxing big time. Sweating stopped day 6 and acne is gone, my skin is so soft, I haven’t been putting creams on it. By day 9 my pain has gone from a 10 to a 3. I feel better mentally. Lost 10kgs. Looking forward to the results from the next 9 days.

as someone so young it is not recommended to fast as your body is still growing and developing. if ur thinking of losing weight maybe some more exercise and eating a bit healthier will do the trick. u don’t need to fast. also speak to ur parents about how u want to lose weight and to a doctor before attempting anything especially fasting as it can be so detrimental on your body and/or mental health. sending my love ♥️

I feel good. Rejuvenated. I can still go for walks and do my regular schedule. Sometimes if I stand up too quickly I get a little dizzy but nothing too crazy

I'm currently on day 2 of 20. I have never done one longer than 11 before, but I'm gonna try. I used to do 3-5 day mini fasts a few years ago and it was a game changer. My skin improved and I lost some extra weight. It works for me, but you have to do it properly and not over-exert yourself.
It's a sensitive task, but it can be beneficial if you research before starting. Just make sure you keep up your electrolytes with minerals to avoid weakness.

I got up to 15 days, in the first about 3 days it felt pretty weird not eating anything but after that I notice that my chest got slimmer and arms, I lost 9 kgs from just drinking water for 15 days wow

Give it a try...water fast actually resets your body. Try to clear your schedule and give it a go.
First start with portion controling your food for 1 week. Then 1 week of low carb. After that start fasting. It may help
