Hello from Greece Terry! I'm building a vacuum tube amplifier for my thesis and your videos have been really helpful! Thanks a lot, I hope you're well!
Excited to see some audio gear come through but I would like to say that for myself at least and I'm not sure why this is,,, I love to see capacitors being tested.. I like to see how good they are,, how bad they are... lol Tubes as well.... I don't know what it is,,,, just an FYI.. I'm probably not the only one...
Good to see this and hear that you plan to do more audio gear. I had the 845 equivalent and it had similar issues. Repair was not hard. The sound was great
@d-labelectronics OK so nichicon elna Rubycon so on have factory's in China that's where mouser get there caps , not Japan which are higher quality D Lab
Audio power amplifier repair and troubleshooting is going to bring in new members, excellent decision!
I don't care what it is on the bench, as long as it has tubes, I'm watching until the end and waiting for the next video.

I watch all gear you bring on the bench , specifical Audio Tube gear😊
Looking forward to hopefully the return of more long form repair videos. Especially love the amateur radio ones.
Very cool. I am friends with the president of Opera Audio. I have several Opera products.
Wow, those are some big, high voltage tubes! I'm a guitarist Terry, but I'll watch you fix some other tube amps, good idea.

Great stuff! Just for fun, bring out the Heathkit IO-4235 scope? Just a thought...
Thanks Terry, I always wondered why you did not do home audio gear. Looking forward. Happy New Year 2025.
Yes, I got caught up in the guitar amps, time to get out of the box. More to come
Merry Christmas my friend hope all is well!
Hooray! A new one!!!!
Wow! Those only lasted 8 years..
Cool project. ITs quite possible those OEM rubycons are not the real thing. Lots of fake label caps from China.
Thank you!,😊😊
OK mouser caps are made in China D - lab you need made in japan
