Actually you can get the nut off without an impact wrench. You just need a long obstruction wrench and a big long arm alien wrench that fits in the hex in the armature.
Thank you for this video I needed this I need a welder and too cheap to buy one.. Not really I wanted a gas powered one and didn't want to spend a lot for one...
What we learned from this video- those *impact cordless* tools are a real *time saver.*
Thanks man I could find any info either. Ima built it today. I weld 3 days a week so I'm looking forward to trying this hot box out
wow. that's awesome. i really like your custom bracket, that's a cool way to do it.
Thanks for all your advice and info
"If you don't have an impact you're not getting this" Amen Brother. lol
Rob Cox I know, right?
Great job . Thank you .Have a great day .
I like the idea of putting a second alternator on not messing with the charging system. How has it been working?
It worked fine. Never needed it on the trial although I did weld some brackets with and they held up well. Sold the truck but kept the welder.
I was just getting off work I see it now thank you very much

I thought the diodes in a Delco were 35 volts.
Does the bridge rectifier come on the delco?
yes
Great video. Thanks.
So if you would have a external regulated alternator. You would not have to take it apart ?
thats what I would assume, however externally regulated alternators that are over 75 amps are getting harder and harder to find.
Can you show a video of the diagram more better I can't find it online meaning more in depth and more clearly thanks
have you seen this one? mhickok.blogspot.com/2008/06/weldernator-true-power.html
I like it.
I'm asking for the paper you show in the video of what to do I did exactly what I seen in the video and something ant working
the link i provided is the article that I used. Im assuming that you hooked 12v to the weldernator to excite the windings?
You know you kind of look like David Puddy from Seinfeld, that was Elaine's boyfriend.
good information
just like in the first video, fewer selfes and less mumbling would be better.
Those are called 1 wire alts
