Hello! Thanks for this show. I have been considering painting some of our interior doors for some time now. Currently, our front door interior is Dinner Party (same as exterior of the door) which we love. It contrasts nicely with the room next to the door which is a large living room in Benjamin Moore Lush (dark green), we have Benjamin Battenburg on the foyer walls with Simply White trim. The foyer has two large shutter style closet doors (currently Simply White) and one garage door (also Simply White) then the hallway just right of that foyer area has A LOT of doors: bathroom door, linen closet door, and THREE bedroom doors! It is a lot of doors for one small hallway! Should I just leave them white? or dabble with Pashmina or something neutral for all of them? or just paint the one door at the end of the hall for contrast (which we are using as our master bedroom)? Any advice would be appreciated. The rooms leading off the hallway are: bathroom is Benjamin Moore Constellation walls with Hale Navy cabinets, our master bedroom-Benjamin Moore Steam, and the small guest room/writing nook is Benjamin Moore Lush and our home office is Battenburg like the hallway. Any advice appreciated!
I notice the dust on my white baseboards, I can’t imagine dusting black baseboards all the time, no thank you. Like a black car, they look clean for a day. They’re showing them on the second choice of Iron Mountain. Behr Vintage Pewter looks very nice on the trim and door. 56 LRV, not too dark.
I stumbled upon your stream midway but couldn't comment. What could I paint the inside of my front door? Walls are Alabaster, stairs and railing Tricorn Black.
@@Pete-rs4yz pick up a color in your favorite decor accent or go with black. My walls are Greek Villa which is very similar to Alabaster and painted all my interior doors Tricorn black. They’re beautiful. Three coats of Emerald Urethane Tricorn black in satin. Your house will be unique. I painted walls and all trim including door jams in Greek Villa and only the doors black

I painted my interior doors in Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black. They look fantastic! I get so many compliments on them.

What about stained red oak? No paint.
I am interested in painting my white plantation shutters but unless it’s factory paint it loses UV protection.
The only color I like was the bonsai green
We had ours painted SW Black Fox, however after 2 years they are chipping off on edges. Professional prepped & sprayed. 😢
A door is so easy to just re-do every couple years.

It might go for the inside of a room door though. Like for a girls bedroom.
