When you factor in Spain, Netherlands and America that’s half the top 15 Latino. Does that seem like a proper distribution of highlighting the world’s beauties? I don’t think so.. Makes these pageants increasingly boring rather than interesting to see a cool mix of beautiful women from around the world! I hope Jamaica wins this time she seems kind, classy, confident, interesting and intelligent.
Colombia, Venezuela, and Brazil consistently place because they send good representatives to Miss Universe. And as a whole, a lot of Latinas place at Miss Universe because the region prepares their queens very well. If you have what the Miss Universe organization wants, you will place. Tough luck to the rest of the world who doesn’t prepare their queens well enough. Don’t sit here and be a baby about it. It’s exhausting seeing people so angry at Latinas just because they put in the work.

I’d rather support women and they’re ability to be seen and heard for who they are on a global stage rather than their ability to perfectly tick all the pageants judges boxes based on how rigorously they went through beauty pageant training back home!
Miss World has more diverse countries placing on top. Jamaica is the reigning Miss World since 2019 and March 17 will be the next edition after the postponed events caused by the pandemic
