One of the best editions ever. I love everything about this one: From the production, dancers, costumes, bikinis plus Jeannie Mai and Shandi made the competition more exciting. I was rooting for Philippines, Costa Rica and Portugal that time.
Colombia and Venezuela deserved to be placed in Top 10, their performances were excellent and they had stunning bodies 💛💙❤️ I love that MUO is uploading this content, is amazing remember all of those beautiful girls in 2011 🤩🤩🤩 please keep it up 🙏❤️

Missing NBC production for miss universe. They always comes with new ideas for the stage that are mind blowing and never see before. This edition celebrates so much Brazilian culture. Miss universe 2012 stage also my favourite not because of Christmas Theme but icy theme that they brought to the stage for the swimsuit & the background music. Not to forget 2013 & 2014 production too.

The competition was tough that year! There were too many women who deserved to make it to the next round. I couldn’t even narrow them down to a top 10!

The legend tells that Venezuela could have easily made it to the top 5 and probably won (considering her speaking skills) if the judges would let her advance. Colombia seemed to be kind of strong also. USA was in a lot of controversy because of her too lean frame. So at least in relation to Venezuela, that was a way to clean the road for Angola.
