Im tired of hearing that stupid divorce excuse 😂. Since when did we start wishing for the worst, you should be making dua that Allah place barakah in the marriage. Technically speaking every marriage has a chance to fall apart. Does that now mean that nobody should get married 😂? Every time you ride a plane it has a chance to crash, does that mean nobody should ride a plane? No, we make dua and have tawakkul in Allah.
The fact that the first thing that comes to their mind is divorce shows some deficiency with their trust in Allah.

I'm so glad that you did this talk brother.. Because a lot of scholars will tell you that it's the man's sole responsibility to provide a home for his wife..and I know it is.. But then does he have to wait till he gets his own place? At a young age, men often aren't earning enough to move out and afford rent, etc. I'm glad you've advised parents to support their children /son's so even if for a while, they continue to live with parents, it's OK. Nikkah shouldn't be so difficult.. Subhana Allah

Most men are earning enough to move out and pay rent for themselves. But if they married a woman who is very demanding or isn't pulling her own weight, or a woman who demanded a lot of money for wedding/nikkah, then it makes it more difficult for the man to provide housing for his wife. This is an extremely common problem that can be easily solved if marriage was more affordable!

    • @resantic2256

I started searching for a wife when i was 21, last year of university. I told my parents and they were supportive. But the problem is that no one accepts to get his daughter married to some one "young" (they consider less than 25 young). In our culture, man should get married on 27 - 34, and should be older than his wife about 5 to 10 years.
Now I am 23, I have a stable earning and good job but still get rejected so many times. I think the only solution is to marry someone from another culture.

I wonder how I’m going to nikah, I’m a revert coming from a strong Christian family. I feel that it’s harder for revert men to find wives, I try to increase my knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah everyday for my wellbeing and to show my future wife’s family that I am serious about my deen. I am 20 and in my third year of college. My father expects me to work while obtaining my master’s degree. InshAllah I will find a wife around that time to help me with my stress. SubhanAllah!

He keeps reminding this knowing that I can't afford it before I don't have a job and that I had been studying.
Sometimes some parents want their children to get married, but they don't know how to put that into action.

Aslaamualukoum brother first Jazah Allahu khairan for creating content that is helpful to our ummah. It’s refreshing to see leaders dealing with real issues in the community. About this video what your suggesting, get married and not live together. Being intimate if the man leaves the woman before they live in one home she will feel used. Also this removes the responsibility of the husband to provide for his wife while benefiting his right as husband with intimacy. it’s easy for man to use the woman for intimacy and dump her after he is done with her. That is emotionally damaging to the woman. I think it’s better to just get to know each without involving physical aspects of nikah. There are some Muslim men with sickness in their heart who want the Muslim woman who saves herself for halal marriage to marry her play with her and dump her. This tends to be with sisters who don’t have mahrim, older or divorced. It’s very sad and scary. Anyway that is the fear some women have.

I completely agree brother. Ive been telling people exactly this for years. They think Im crazy. But what is better for our children? Halal or haram? Get married and sit and home and do your study if you need to. What could be better? Encourage and support your children to be responsible and have a focus of their own family life. They would be able to save knowing that they have someone to build their life with. We have let our cultures take over what the deen says. When we do the halal we will get Allahs blessings.

      As extra life support
      Women biological clock starts
      Decreasing by 30+ This
Is when marriage becomes more difficult.

I married at 19, I chose wrong. Choosing the right spouse is a serious thing. While I agree with your message for people in their 20s. I think that it is a big ask, to ask a teenager to pick the right spouse for them when they don’t know who they are or what they are looking for in the first place. Having your children married and living with you is not practical and does not fulfill the rights of these spouses. When they have children, then what? Who will take care of those kids? It’s easy to tell people to get married left and right but the reality of the situation is that marriage has serious consequences and it’s not the same as having a boyfriend or a girlfriend. So let’s instead promote that the youth work on themselves, use the frustration as a driving factor to be more productive so that you know who you are and what you stand for, you’re aware of your flaws and know what you want in a partner. That is when it is time to get married.

I have always said that as soon as my eldest son asks me for a wife I will inshaAllah try to help him, some parents make me really angry, as if they dont remember how they felt when they were young , my son is only 7 and he already have some conscious about a partner, asks me about love, how do you chose a partner , even what he wants in a woman and what he doesn't, compared to my oldest daughter she is 6 , has no interest whatsoever in the topic. We must support our chikdren to marry as soon as they feel that necesity, keeping them without a partner for 15, 20, 30 years, subhanAllah, that is torture and it is damaging them I every aspect of their lives. Instead of pushing away, parents would guide the young couple. May Allah help me fulfil my word and to be there for my children . Ameen.
