Found one of these in the dumpster this weekend. Works fine, the tombstone had snapped off and whoever owned it didn't want to fix it again for what appears to be the 3rd or 4th time. 1x2 wooden ground stakes fit almost perfectly in those connectors, so I'm going to use those to make the tombstone detachable for storage. Also going to paint the plastic bit above his head black. Online manual says "Intended for indoor use" but it's really just about water, don't leave this guy out in the rain and he's going to be fine. Love that he's battery powered so I can put it in the boulevard and don't have to run a power cable.
This Tekky animatronic is awesome! I plan on getting him this year. But Im waiting for other stores to reveal their line ups so I can make my final decision.
Did you have trouble with the sensor? Every other video I've seen has had an extremely poor or non functioning one. Also, is it an I.R.sense which works in the dark?
