The wheels were installed sometime in the 90s shortly after it was painted so it certainly does have the look of that era. I did the detail work right after the current owner bought it. Many days of polishing the black paint back to its former glory. I think it would look good with a nice set of Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels or old school Cragar's.
@@Preston_Turdball I think it would look classic in chrome wheels that are the standard hubcapless wheels on normal car of the era. Like they did with the wheels in the film American Grafitti.
It was an interesting project. The car was painted sometime back in the 1990's and looked like it had been cared for with a dirty rag soaked in a bucket of gravel. Many hours of polishing this one to correct it back to this level of finish.
This Car is a Piece of Art.
That's one slick black paint job!!❤
Usually I don't care for modern rims on old cars, but this one seems to be an exception.

I wanted to own one
I only knew of one person who had one
But in 1971 in high school it was hard for me to get one
I want it !
Stunning!
Thank you! It was several days and many hours to do the polish work on this one.
That's looks great, especially with all the chrome on it. Not to mention that's when I was born. 1-8-58.
Imagine that same car with front and rear Cragers?
