Nice work Henry.. . Its looking good! Remember my previous tip on investing in a plastic syringe with narrow tubing... That makes the filling/topping up of all four dampers a piece of cake! Topping up the rears in nigh on impossible without this once they are back on the car. Only around £5 from tinternet, so well worth it to get rid of the hassle factor. Keep up the good work 👍.
Good work Henry. You are tenacious! You might try citric acid for derusting parts. You can buy citric acid crystals / powder on Amazon in quantity. Mix with water in a bucket and drop in your parts. Does a good job.
My bGT came to with with custom rear shackles, and a shock kit. I couldnt locate replacment shocks, so i ended up fitting my old dodge dakota shocks, sure it'll bottom out on the shock here and there, but its nice and tight now.
I'm just wondering about not replacing the rear sway bar. I've converted to chrome bumper so weight shouldn't be an issue, but I've not reduced the ride height which will be

Mine was a 73 USA I can’t remember if it had a rear sway bar tbh. I always loved the rubber bumper cars.
