- Today we’re working on the V Strom in the shop getting it ready for a weekend ride. When I rode the bike home from New York I noticed that the tires had some cracking in the sidewall and I didn’t really care for the style of tire anyways. So we’re putting brand new tires on it as well as doing an oil change because it’s been about 2 1/2 years since it was done. We’re also gonna go over the rest of the motorcycle and make sure everything else is up-to-date and roadworthy

Thank you, it rode like a dream!!!
Man, having a tire machine makes that job so freaking easy! I change my tires manually with the Rabaconda, which is also pretty fast once you get the hang of it. It's nice if you've got a small workspace because it breaks down into a duffel bag when not in use.
I've heard good things about that Rabaconda! It sounds really convenient.
Great video Adam the tires definitely look better than what was on the bike before. Thanks for sharing stay safe Adam.
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Nice garage, nice video, nice everything, and I stayed awake through the whole thing!
Awesome! Thank you!
Loved your Cruise crossover video with Tony! Enjoyed meeting you guys in Galveston, hope to see you again!
It was great meeting you as well thank you for watching the videos. Tony just notified me a couple days ago that his video was out so I need to let people know in the next video.
Great job! The workshop looks good since I last saw it! 👍
Thanks! 👍
Shops looking good... today (Sunday) would have been a great day to ride... Our Road M-Place is impassable ... Looks like a sponge
Yes, we did go for a ride on Sunday. That video will come out tomorrow.
Thanks for showing the service
No problem, thanks for watching!
Nice tire changer👍...Changing tire thread/style should be a smoother ride!
Yes, it’ll definitely be nicer on the street but probably won’t perform as well in off-road conditions
Great informative video I really like that v storm, definitely on my list for a dual sport bike- if ever I get to have one. Looks easy to work on also that’s a plus for road trips
Yeah, it’s pretty easy to work on and a very reliable bike!
Sweet ride I have an old klr650
KLR is a great motorcycle
Good video!
Appreciate that!
Excellent video bud shop is sweet and u make it look easy also I need tires on my ultra this spring I like the Michigan commander 3 what do think
I actually like the Michelin Commander very much. Some people prefer the Dunlops, but I’ve always been a Michelin guy.
Nice video but should you be getting ready for Daytona bike week
Yes, it is coming up quick
Nice save, when you were bringing it the shop. 👍🏽
Wish you did tires at MB, I need two on my RG. I’ll order two on line and get them done in the next few weeks.
How do you feel about Pirelli Night Dragon tires on a Harley RG?
I have never used the Perelli’s on a Harley before, but I hear that they’re pretty good
🍀🙏
Great video I saw you in Oceans city great guy . Could you please tell me what you use to balance your tires I what it could you sent me the link
In the video, I mentioned that I was using ride on to do the balance as well as work as a sealant
Nice shop. But at the risk of being a silly question, No balance?
You didn’t watch the video the whole way through did you?
Yes I did, had an interruption, apparently when u used the ride-on. Watched the last part again. 😂@amsoiladam
Any chance you could do a minute or so on t
Your Chok & retractable strap setup? Thanks
Yeah, I can probably do that
Just an opinion, but the OEM tires look a lot better than the 50/50 tires.
Mike rode the bike on Sunday and he said he loved the way the tires performed
Hey Adam I’ve different answers about balancing cycle wheels . Where your thoughts on do it or don’t ?
Definitely do it, especially the front
Where can I buy that ?
You not going to try to straighten the bent rim?
It’s very minor and nothing to really worry about. More likely to do more damage trying to straighten it.
@amsoiladam send it to Buchanan.. he'll have it perfect when it returns
I use kerosene to clean my chains. It is a powerful cleaner and it doesn't damage the o-rings. Good and informative video!
I have also used kerosene and diesel fuel before I’ve even used brake clean before, but I know that’s not the right thing to do
@@amsoiladam Castile soap will not swell the o rings.. almost everything else will
