i didnt even knew you could recruit cormag... i just finished the map before he arrived (killing aias) with op amelia, ross and ewan since he was never mentioned again in the story, i just thought he died.
Soliders: Hey Cormag Erika's here, so you ready for this? That's why you brought us out here with you right? Cormag: *Raises lance* yeah...change of plans...
I highly recommend defeating the boss before Pablo and his troops show up. When he arrives, he can attack you from a long distance with purge. As soon as you recruit Cormag, make a mad dash to the boss to the east and defeat him.
@anything3546 Depends what level did you promote them at? theres a big difference in stats between a unit promoted at lv 10 and a unit promoted at lv 20. Also make sure that you use the forest and fort "tiles" to your advantage. I plan on doing a full lets play of this game on hard mode after i'm done my current lets plays
@AlastorShadow0 This stage is all about being aggressive and fast. If you keep units on forts there will be less enemies spawning every turn units that can move 6+ spaces should be set to the far right so you can cover more ground faster. Better yet, you could put a general on a fort and watch them mow down every enemy that runs into it. Yes I did abuse the arena, I only did that because I was using only the female characters and those first few stages are very tough with out it
Completely missed Cormag in my playthrough. Only found out about him when I heard TH-camrs talking about how good he is. I must’ve killed the boss too early lmao, never saw him and his wyvern knights fly in.
I like to abuse the heck of the tower, the arena is risky but if you can pull it off it will pay off big. I actually think i did use the arena a little in chapter 12 on ephraims route but i train a lot in the tower and with my promoted units its really easy.
You made Neimi a sniper? I think it’s better to make her a ranger. Sure she loses access to the ballista, but this is the last map that features them, and even when you come here for a skrimish, the field could be Fog of War, making the ballista completely useless. Also, you could make Vanessa or Tana a Wyvern knight and still get them to learn their triangle attack with Syrene. You just can’t make both Vanessa and Tana Wyvern knights.
@anything3546 No savestates, rewinds, rom hacks, or anything that could be considered cheating was used during this play through. If I messed up I restarted the entire level.
@@Maybe_i_am_joking_maybe_im_not Lute gets a horse, Artur gets slayer, horses are way better than Slayer because you one-round literally every single monster with or without it.

That's why I always made sure to keep the boss around and explore the map just in case extras would show up.
