... This is one of THE best looking watch videos I have ever seen yet! Its very informative, detailed and professionally produced. Keep up the great work and stay safe pal.
Thank you for the very informative video! I have been looking for reviews and the history of this watch and I am glad to have come across yours! Subscribed!
I’ve the stealth black version and it’s possibly the most beautiful of my G-shocks. Too bad AW-500 didn’t enjoy the fame and glory some of the other G-shocks (Square, CasiOak etc..) enjoyed..
Very nice video ! The Casio's Baby-G pokemon 25th Anniversarry would be a nice one to see ! Keep up with the great work! Nice editing and Graphic design 👍🌼
I don't like the tail of the minute hand and the buttons are all parallel to the wrist band. I have the AW500E and AWM500 gun metal which look like the resin reissue, still I like that they both look alike in resin and metal
I’m sure its a conscious decision for them to reposition the buttons as the designer stated that they had to redesign the inner case to accommodate the metal out body. It may be a consequence of make a smaller and sleeker case.
Oh maaan, such beauty, 💘 my Full Metal Square golden but this one should've been SOLAR, no big Casio logo on the middle of the dial... would've buy in a second if it was solar
imagine if the awm-500d had sapphire instead of mineral glass... im sure it was thought about. decisions had to be made to meet a certain cost. may be one day. waiting for gshock to release a resin screwback version.
I may have missed it but what are the dimensions? Also anyway to get a Japanese domestic market watch in the US? Thanks for another great video! Thanks
No you actually didn’t miss it. I didn’t have the dimensions yet when I created this video. Size of case : 51.8×44.5×14.2mm Total weight : 175g I get my watches from ippojapanwatch or sakurawatches
@@DesignAtelier Yes, Casio is definately capable of handling titanium, just look at the Oceanus line of watches they produce. And when it's needed, they will request the aid of Grand Seiko for the case finishing.

Haha yes. One of my forced corny lines.

It is solar! 😄 still, smaller logo...
Great video. This is tempting in the stainless variant.
Yes I think that case and bracelet is just glorious. Reminds you of a certain 30s era inspired watch don’t it?
Great video man! Case reminds me of Moser
It does right? That glorious bracelet is just tempting me everyday to buy one.

this watch is crying out for a sapphire crystal, in my opinion.
Well done sir 👍👍

That’s what I was afraid of. Thanks for all the information!!!!
@@DesignAtelier so the stainless steel version is smaller right? What is the dimension of the steel version?
Black metal version would be nice !
yes thats a good idea!
AWM-500-1AJFは、昨日買いました
Bluetoothがなくて個人的にはシンプルで良かったですよ
wow! i'm glad you bought one. share some images when you have them on your wrist.
シルバーのGショックが格好いいと思うけど..“BLACK”もいいよね..。
i'm hoping to get one in the channel if the prices weren't so steep.
My dog has 5 ana digi.. To wrap his tail along. 🤘😬🤘
Your dog wins the internet!
Nice design, but the dimensions are almost as big as KING GX56bb. Kinda bad for Asian wrists unless you are into huge chunky g shocks.
Yeah the irony. I wonder still how this wears on my tiny asian wrist? dimensions say its smaller but i dont know.
would look great in titanium
Indeed but can they get titanium to shine like that?
@@DesignAtelier Yes, Casio is definately capable of handling titanium, just look at the Oceanus line of watches they produce. And when it's needed, they will request the aid of Grand Seiko for the case finishing.
@@dikkie1000 well said. Agreed.
full metal watch is too heavy to wear, I'm looking forward to the GM-500.
I have the impression that it is much better, aw-590/591.
it has that similar design profile with the cross section and circular case.

i dont know what that means but ok
