Great demonstration of Paste fishing. Used it yesterday to win a club match. I have also used the method to catch smaller fish like F1's by using a small pinch of paste on a 16 hook with a bunch of 4 stotz just above the hooklength. Works a treat. Good video.
As long as you can get your paste to the bottom then any depth is ok but its normally a summer tactic so a shallow margin or shallow areas around the lake seem to work better.

Thanks for sharing. Your paste doesn't seem to be as wet as others suggest. Is that because you are using mainline? 🖒🖒🖒
If you mix it to wet then it doesn't say on the hook.
