- I absolutely love my paste fishing and while it isn't quite time for the big paste yet, the micro pea paste method is kicking into gear perfectly!
I've tweaked it a bit from a previous micro paste video I did so check this one out :)

Poloni pellets 6mm 2mm no soaked put in dry to let flavour flood out on lake bed . Then wrap paste around 8mm .. my son never fails to catch

broad bean = fourteen (hook)
pea mean = sixteen (hook)
Always found a 1mm solid best for this Joe, can use the best as anchor and read bites better

No ta . I tried paste fishing once only thing I caught were the snags I think every snag in the lake.. can't beat pellet shaped meat over chilli hemp

It would but is go up to a 4x18 float and feed via the pot only
Do you think this is a match wining method or if you was on a match would you use it as filler in between resting your bigger target fish swims. Great vid as always Joe 🎣👍
It is a match winner. But I get drawn into fishing shallow usually 🤣
Tried it at Hawford Bridge last weekend. Never had a bite on it.

How do you prepare your 4 mm feed pellets Joe ? Great little vid 👍
It depends what they are really. In a perfect world I stick them in a large cliplok tupperware and just cover with water the night before.
I keep shaking them and then fridge them overnight.
Another good ,informative video..when you say 'staggerd' do you mean a strung bulk?..
I stagger it so the shot are gradually getting closer together

Nice to revisit the pea paste ,Joe. Think I've told you before i was lucky to have a coaching day with Neil Machin @ heronbrook,a few years ago. He was frightening on that method. Do you think that due to larger f1s and carp in most venues now it lost its appeal a bit?

@Match Fishing Films Wrentham Field Farm Fisheries. In the Margin set roughly 18inches deep 1ft away from the bank. Carp couldn't get enough of it. Pleasure session with my Dad and we must have had close to 300lb between us.
