It's incredible to see this now. Especially since seeing Jay return the favor back in 2012 by having Big daddy kane as one of his opening acts at the Barclays Center when it first opened.

Cool to see Kane giving Jay his time on stage. Kane said that he always believed in Jay-Z as a rapper.

Great to see him in that Kane jacket, rocking on Kane's show. Brooklyn MC's man! That fast flow was dope to listen to! But I have to givem credit for knowing to slow it down.... most people dont listen that fast and he made his connection with me and everyone else, rapping at a slower, less wordy pace. Big up to Hov.

in '91 he was making so much money as a dope dealer that he didn't even consider to leave that and step in the rap game. back then mc's didn't make money at all, it was until 95 when jay saw other cats like biggie to make some real money rapping, so he decided to take a leap of faith of fading the dope dealing and focusing 100% on the music

People don’t know Kane and Jaz made and showed Jay-Z’s talent to the world. I thank and respect Kane for that and he’s a legend in his own right. So the people who are still crediting Nas and Big L need to research or watch some of Kane interviews to fully understand what he did for Jay’s career.

I'm writing from a film production company based in London called Acme Films. We're producing a documentary on Jay Z for a major broadcaster here in the UK. We would really love to use this footage in our documentary and was wondering if we could have your permission to use it.
