    This collection of equations reminds me of when I took the math course Linear Analysis, which was largely forcused on the Laplace Transform - we would get a huge table with transformations from the "t-domain" to the "s-domain", because it would take forever to have to derive one of those equations every time we needed them. =P
    I suppose that college life is like that a lot of the time - equations in such great numbers that tables are pretty much necessary.

    Maybe a little bit of an odd question but what does it mean if when you solve the modulus of rigidity equation for poisson ratio and it comes out negative? Does that mean the material will expand in both the lateral and longitudinal directions?
