ive been hearing from a lot of hardcore phish fans that they are not even going to phish shows anymore, just going to see goose. and this was from about 5 friends who used to travel from 2002 onward across the country for phish

I saw a huge line to get into a venue in Nashville last night. Had to look it up and see who was playing. It was these guys. Now I understand the line.

this was my first goose show and all i can say is wow guys each set was better than the previous truly an awesome show, you guys friggen rock. only thing I expected but didn't get was people honking like geese but that's understandable

I loved Peter playing the Jr grand piano . It reminded me of Bruce hornsby jumping into the piano seat for the grateful dead after brent passed away. I enjoyed the tone and he looked like he was having a blast playing it. I just don't see them lugging it around on tour.
As a young musician, you're always wary of playing in a band with a B3 & Leslie combo so I just winced at idea of travelling w/ a baby grand.

So this was my “first” Goose show. I saw them at the basically rained out 4 song Frederick show where in the front row tires were half covered in water and so were your calves. This more then makes up for that show twice over. One hell of an incredible performance. It’s gonna be hard to see them again and not compare to this show. We got so spoiled.
My first shows were Legend Valley. Maybe the best shows of 2021. I was worried about being let down at my next shows, but these dudes absolutely never let up. So good, always.

Show was originally scheduled for December 18, one week to the day before Christmas...a member of their entourage tested positive for Covid. Goosemas was rescheduled to Feb 26. They opened with Linus and Lucy, pure Christmas. They spared us on going too far down the Christmas thread....

Phish...has become so studied, and a huge production. Yes, current phish is way long in the tooth, but goose can and will do there thing, but phish in their "hey day"... won t really b topped. Just 2 unique, funny and tallent, and no social media, just bootleg trade and word of mouth. Goose is Norwalk ct wealthy rock. Their roots are not the cold winter months or lots of snow, their roots are expensive cars and shopping malls.
