To be honest I have no idea either!! 😂 It may be because I'm persistent and message a lot of the coach SA's that I follow online. Most of them have been purchases through those SA's. I'll literally just ask if they have them available to purchase and many times they do!
I was so excited to get this bag but upon receiving it I noticed that there’s a weird coating on top of the leather that makes it less soft and more wrinkly than my quilted tabby 26 in soft purple. My Coach SA also confirmed my suspicions that the leather feels different because of the lip prints. Also the colour claims to be chalk but it’s definitely more of an off white colour when I compared it to my other chalk bags that I have from Coach. Sadly I had to return it 😢 such a beautiful bag to look at tho and wonderful video ❤
I bought mine this week and it arrived yesterday I got one of the 50 bags as well and I think you can tell my the original placement of the lips . The original ones done have a lip on the far left side of the bag they have it by the C silver logo if that makes sense that’s why I’ve been noticing, with all the videos I’ve been watching
I'm personally not sure what Coach is doing with the limited items, it's a while since they released so seems odd they'd get a return; maybe more likely some leftover from in store? The story patch has no indication that the bag is from the Runway so not sure how we'll be identifying them from the new releases of these bags. They're so beautiful though I must say... I need more lol I'm not big on the lip print but I hope they bring back the pink and purple color!
Thanks for sharing! What’s the difference between factory wrapped v no factory wrapped? You kind of mentioned something about the whole bag would be wrapped up. Can you explain why this makes a difference?
Yes I can try to explain this! Factory wrapped means that the bag or item is in the packaging it came in from the factory. Sometimes the stores will leave them in the factory wrapping, but sometimes they will take the bag out of this wrapping for various reasons. It seems like people prefer items to be factory wrapped to limit potential damage that could be done to the item if it's unwrapped. Sometimes it also means the item was a return if it's unwrapped as well.
How do you feel about the quality of this bag??? I just got it for a sale price of $337, but it feels so cheap and sensitive. I’m not sure if mines is defective because it feels so dry. My Kurt Geiger bag feels better than this one. I’m so disappointed because the bag is so pretty 😢

I think it's a combination of the white dye on the leather and the lip print pattern... I think the pattern is actually raised so it feels rough compared to smooth leather without a pattern
