Rimworld veterans know the tortoise army is a valid strat.
Seriously they're one of the most efficient animals for combat because their small size reduces food consumption. Elephants/bears are fun but eat a ton and have a slow reproduction rate meaning. Turtles breed faster, which means you can have a bigger army faster AND losing an animal or two isn't the end of the world.
@@ragnaroksbringer you could just clone the bears/elephants to solve reproduction and then feed some of the clones to the other clones to solve the food problem.

I wasn't even watching Spiff's videos at the time, but as soon as I stopped paying attention, the YT algorithm just sent me on a deep dive into Spiff's videos. All those TH-cam hacks really do work. :D

a couple of months later I get this event: this dude named Gob, who is classified as "Farm Oaf" is running away from his settlement and i save him by killing his assailants
the next week i get another event where Gob "impresses Alna by making a joke about the nature of the universe. Gob and Alna are now lovers." Alna being the aforementioned super-intellect royalty.

Seems like you’d have some fun with whatever mod adds betapoly, get heavy plate armour and helmet if it and your colonists will be invincible
Couple that with the Doom mod. A beta poly chainsaw is sickeningly devastating. IIRC, it is like 400 damage at 4x the speed of fists. And it doesn't have quality, so it is always that.
