It's lovely to see them all done like this. I love the fairytales books. You are such an amazing colourist. You really do excellent work on light and dark shading and light sources. Thank you.

Thank you so much! Usually I never use orange as a background color, but for Jack it created good contrast to the olive leaves

All your pictures are beautiful Alena, and I love how natural the animals look, the feathers and fur look great. I think the backgrounds you added are lovely, you're too hard on yourself!

I love your colored pages and I love the work of Selina Fenech, but I would but a pdf version for her next book, then you could use good quality paper

Yes , I think that I'll purchase her next work as pdf even if I dislike to have and to store separate colored pictures and I'm too lazy to bind them somehow. But her last pictures could be so good with watercolor backgrounds, so maybe it's time to break my habit of purchasing paper books.

Amazing coloring job, considering how thin is the paper on Selina's book. I really love the Mermaids collection book (4 in 1) and I'm considering buying it, but the paper is really limiting, and considering it's a Mermaid themed book, I like to work with watercolor in most of the sea/underwater backgrounds... and her PDF's I think are too expensive (I follow her long time and never saw her doing sales on her pdf store). I never understood why her PDF cost the same as her physical books...

Oh, that's exactly my thoughts: every time I see a book on mermaid theme, I'm immediately starting to wonder if paper allows to work with watercolor paints. I totally agree that mermaids look much better if background is done with water-soluble media
