Thank you! Many works of Herb Leonhard remind me about medieval paintings or perhaps Pre-Raphaelites art. Sometimes I use them as an inspiration for the color palette

Alena I don’t know how you do it you must have a computer chip in your head to be able to remember all the different pencil sets in their colors and make combos out of them. You are amazing.❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😁 I indeed remember the most unique and interesting colors in each of my pencils sets, and of course I constantly use my swatch sheets to match colors for 'light-dark-midtone' pencil trios.

As a child, I was horrified by the story of the Little Match Girl. Your rendering of her story is beautifully done, and shows your care and compassion for her. Thank you.
I also was horrified and I simply wasn't able to comprehend that fairy tale can have unhappy ending. Such a huge difference from the rest of the stories in the book...I remember that I even tried to avoid opening the book on the pages with this story and its illustrations
Do you have colour alongs of the pictures of Leila Duly's book? They are amazing, I would like to colour them following your colour alongs. 😊
