Brilliant. The combat itself looks incredible. A nod to Warlord Britannia, but with fully articulated characters. Incredible. And this is just the start. We can expect the same rank promotion system (armor, weapons), tactical strategy to include the use of cavalry and siege weapons, field-camp building system…and much more. It’s Warlord Britannia X20. Or more.
@@hokageyeet992 I am playing it on my streams. Basically you burn down every settlement, no matter how big, you spare no warrior whatsoever that comes towards you, except maybe the way to big ones. All you do is raid, burn and push forward. It gets harder with every warrior you add to your army.
Armor in feudal japan was light weight and made for mobility and agility, it was not restrictive or heavy by no means. Making you slower in japanese armor does not make sense here, unlike an european knight in heavy armor, it would make a little more sense there. Armor in japanese warfare was made to counter arrows, so it should giuve protections against arrows, bows were the primary weapon during this period.
Hmm. Yes it could change it, but with this lighter armor it should not be significant. I also think that the movement backwards is too fast. You should not be able to run from the enemy backwards like that, you should be much slower.
a full samurai armor weighed about 30 kg while a full knight armor was around 30 - 35 kg. not much difference in weight, it was more a difference in weight distribution.
Warlord was fun, but even the latest version is still pretty buggy. Exactly the kind of stuff the youtube shills never tell you about. be wary watching these guys. They have hookups with the developers and are not honest.
Well for sure there are some kinds of things. And as usual the game will have its bugs and issues, this is a little developer after all. Do I have a hookup with a dev? No not really, the dev will gain the big mass of players from a small guy like me. As I said, I played and rated the game by the Playtest I got. And I talked about exactly those things. You might want to take a look yourself, the Playtest is free for everyone to sign up to. And if it has bugs, well help the Dev by reporting them. Non the less, thank you for you honest comment and have a awesome weekend. :)
Excellent! Great commentary here.
Appreciate all the help
I have the Playtest but it isn’t loading

I can agree, it will be very interesting and even adding to what we know from Britannia.
cant wait to join the playtest tomorrow!! starting a new Britannia save to pass the time
Have you tried a no mercy run yet?
@@indiebubbles nooo what are the rules!? (:

9:34 this is brutal haha
That's what you told me to do xD
Damn this looks interesting,
So far the fighting is interesting. I am curious about the campaign, but sadly the dev has not started creating it yet.
You should finish warlord brittania first because after that awaji will have all the updates so it will be newer and better
Oh I am. We are finishing the normal run and the no mercy run.
Hope to be fit on Tuesday for a stream and no mercy.

Thank you very much for these information's. So a armour would not change your speed and jump capability at all?

@@sorynn1991 I will bring it to the dev in his discord. Thank you very much :)
European knight armor did not make you heavy. People can sprint in it perform various excersises. Look up damm buhurt.

10/10
Im Really Interested in the diplomacy I wish we could trade prisoners of war, Slaves For resources.
I have to agree, that opens so many possibilities.
Just reminds me of Chivalry 2
I am not sure if I see the same game, but I kinda get what you are talking about.
